Paul: What is amazing to me is that somehow, you have captured not only Dio's phrasing in his vocals with your guitar, but you've somehow managed to capture the tonal quality of his voice with your guitar tone. When the first lick comes up, I swore I heard Dio singing "mmmmm" - and then I realized it was your guitar! This is exceptional work, and a job really well done. Dio would be proud!!!

people using his old clips and vhs tapes have more subs, crazy how these things on internet works. but makes sense if you think about it, he's not trying to please the algorithm when he's uploading anything. For example this video could have a face of him surprised or something on the left, and dio's angry face on the right in the thumbnail. also titled as "would ronnie like this if he was alive today?!" i think he would get way more subs and views if that was the case. Kiko or kiko's channel manager does it to some extent. but again, i think paul's intention is to have an online presence, whereas kiko probably trying to reach as much as of audience possible with his mentality of teaching and serving fans.

PG just rocks - from Racer X, to Mr Big and all the awesome solo stuff in-between. The amazingly fun and silly guitar tutorial vids, the crazy shows in Japan with Marty and still blessing us with great music and playing. As a 17yr old guitarist in sunny Scotland in the 80's I would anxiously check in with our local import record shop (Hot Wax if anyone is from Edinburgh!) and bug the guy to tell me when the latest stuff was going to arrive from the US (especially Shrapnel Label records...). 1986 and Street Lethal finally arrived and the pure virtuosity blew my whole circle of rock and guitar friends away. Bruce and Paul doing the GIT thing and beyond - I dreamt of going to GIT and living that life! But, I went into IT, had kids, got married and play in a rock covers band - so not quite the way my young self saw it going lol... Thank you Paul for all the joy and wonder you bring to our ears, both with your music and your wise words!
