What's so brilliant about this is that he captures the feel of the original, and in places, he absolutely nails Elton John's cadence, inflections, and so on. Stunning cover.

Interesting... but I still like that solo version best where you sit in the studio. The amazing thing about this song: it's not a "look how fast I can play, worship me" song. It makes sense. It kinda sits in my personal mount Olympus of guitar tracks alongside Satrianis 8 minute 2006 live version of the Summer Song. Gods, I wish I hadn't wasted my time not practicing...
