With media too concerned with what happen off field and the media having too much sway with stupid ideas. Everyone knows the risks when you play particularly football of any nature. If you want to get rid of the rubbish from games, easy solution is to let the players sought it. he's right! but all of these tackle techniques aren't necessarily to injure though its to slow the play the ball down. Melborne are notorious for slowing play the balls. The recent game against penrith is another example why was the ref not punishing the slow play the balls in the first half in particular then roosters vs rabbitohs there were resets to the set for even less time slowing the play the ball. melborne always get away with it more than other teams. melbourne the richie mccaw of league except they push a fine line for injuries to rival teams through their techniques

That tackle wasn't a "tackling style". For anyone to suggest that is intentional is quite frankly a disgrace of an accusation, the lack on intellect shown by Kent and Hooper, is poor. When making that tackle, there are 2-3 defending bodies, as well as an attacking body, how can you expect 2-3 players see that their arms are perfectly placed for player safety. Play the tackle at full speed, there is no way in the half second it took for Matterson to fall, Kaufusi could clearly think to move his elbow slightly to ensure he gets knocked out cold. I've been hit harder in my games, so has my brother, we don't see those hits as intentional, as they're no. No human goes out onto that pitch with the intent of seriously injuring someone and for Kent and Hooper to suggest that is again, poor.

100%, the game isn't played in slow motion, it's all split second things, there were two other people in that tackle and Ryan started falling a split second before Kaufusi put his weight on him. It was the hit on the ground that would have caused more damage than the elbow. If players have a history of head knocks, why don't more of them wear head gear to minimise the risk?

All tackling can injure a person , it’s the higher injury tackles that are outlawed. If you tackle incorrectly around the legs and gets smashed with a knee , you could receive a concussion or even worse , It’s tackle football . Impact with 3 people on one is just as dangerous as a lifting tackle . Bellamy plays to the rules , and all players of all clubs get penalized for lifting or high tackles not just the storm .
