Epic performance from McDavid, and now Rogers Place is probably going to cause some serious hearing loss for an awful lot of people attending Game 6 on Friday night in Edmonton. The momentum of the series has definitely shifted, and Bobrovsky has to deliver a massive personal performance between the pipes next game in a very hostile building to swing it back in favour of the Panthers. Predicting here that Game 6 will probably feature tighter checking and need OT to be decided.

Yep HUGE difference between Kris being down 3 to 0 and Paul being up 3 to 2. I said many times - Florida lost game 4 almost purposely thinking they could win game 5 at will. Well, now they lost game 5 and all the series momentum sits with Edmonton PLUS Oilers playing with house money. Game 6 is not a guarantee but Florida will have to play their best game by far of the season if they don't want a game 7

Also, a lot of ex-players have talked about how teams would rather win on the road. They get to party together in the city, then on the plane trip home, together as a team. When they win at home most players go their own way or split up into the cliques. Im sick and tired of hearing this bull shit that florida didnt try or purposely lost. I said they (just watch Maurice's press conferences prior to game 5) are to cocky and think they can win any game they want. Also, the players didn't bring in anyone - Bill Zito and the owner did. Players weren't even aware that they were coming. Problem now is - the BEST hockey player on the planet has figured out what their plan is to stop him, and he's adjusted. I said it to L.A. fans, to Canuck fans (even after game 5 even though McDavid was sick in that series) and to Dallas fans - all things being equal - if the BEST player goes off - that team wins. Florida in HUGE trouble now and it looks good on that arrogant bunch

FLA is much slower than the Oilers - the penalties were inevitable. Having said that, the Oilers are outscoring the Panthers on the Panther's PP. The refs can't help that. As to the diving, Tkachuk is a notorious diver, as is Rodrigues. Bennett and Luistarainen both wanted stretchers for alleged knee to knee hits, and both came back on the next shift. I think FLA should stop with the soccer antics, and stick to hockey- they are embarrassing themsevles.
