This "underrated" coments about Ringo should be stopped. Ringo is not underrated and he almost never was. There was one comedian who told a vary overrated joke, that some people thaught by mistake it was a John Lennon joke, and that's it. Most musicians and music lovers always rated Ringo vary highly

@@claresherman2278 No. It's his movement, lightness on his feet, body language and wit that appears so young compared to most other people. Lots of people his age with lots of money look their age and even older. He was extremely sick as a child, spent over a year in hospitals and restricted to his room at home then alcoholic for a long time. Often those who survive childhood health issues end up having very healthy adult lives - perhaps because they had underlying good physiology and metabolism so that, having survived, the good biomachinery then just works

A lifetime of music, for me, tied to memories. I was 13 when they did the first Ed Sullivan appearance. They were Gods throughout my high school years. They broke up when I was in college. Then Paul’s solo album, George’s album, Ringo’s singles, All the Wing’s songs in the 1970’s, and John’s Double Fantasy album before he was killed in 1980. We all get old, but, the music stays young.

Thank the Heaven's and this beautiful world for gifting us with such incredible musicians tha have brought us immeasurable happiness through their profound and unbelievably incredible music, songs that are among the best all time and have inspired generations of musicians, countless people globally who've learned and been influenced by the Beatles otherworldly music. Will always be grateful, and for today, I'm grateful we still have Paul and Ringo. Love them, would love to see them and tell them thank you for lifting me up with the beautiful rays of light that shine from their heavenly sounds. Only God could create more beautiful tunes. I'm sure even God thinks the Beatles are pretty darn good. His favorite band is Green Day though, apparently. GD claimed God to their fandom so I won't object but you know God loves the Beatles too. Calling The Beatles a 'band' is an insult; Simply put: A gift from G-D. They will and 4ever be the single greatest 4 piece musical blessing to ever walk this planet. Kudos to Mary for the project (and I've yet to see it !!!!!!!!! ??????????????)

They certainly evolved the human race. They added intelligence and angularity to an otherwise silly pop and rock n' roll era. The Beatles brought you on a trip, put you in a trance, made you think, caused you to evolve. And they did it all with no more than 4-track recorders and magnetic tape.

It’s a shame that there will never be another band that can do anything close to what they did. The songwriting then the music. And then it was consistent. Music is very disappointing now and a dismal outlook. There is no classic music from this time period. We’re still listening to Beatles zeppelin the who Hendrix. Etc. Grateful Dead. That’s all 50+ years old. Crazy

Poor Ringo, his age is showing. Mary had to remind him that sure the Beatles had tried other studios, but always came back to Abbey Road. He mentioned that they had tried other studios, but forgot to tag it with the line about always coming back to Abbey Road studios. Mary gave him the gentle reminder, and basically led him back into it, and then he ran with it.

This morning I went to the supermarket to buy some things. There was a local sound service there and it played a song (?)... the lyrics went something like this: I started dating you and I didn't know you were cheating on me. It took a while but I discovered your b....., you suck, you're just a b... and so on... what a shame that today's youth has to be "gifted" by today's music, infamous and disintegrating garbage. Well, at least here in Brazil music is all there is. Luckily I'm old, I grew up listening and imitating these 04 guys and many others so good from those Abbey Road days.
