Such an underrated film was GIVE MY REGARDS TO BROAD ST . Of course , it was 1984 and by then The Beatles music was (believe it or not) considered passe . Yet , the yrs have been kinder . The soundtrack included some of the best songs ever recorded by Paul , or anyone anytime , including : 1. Yesterday 2. For no one 3. Here, there, & everywhere 4. Eleanor Rigbey 5, The long & winding road 6.Ballroom Dancing (seen here) . Timeless is McCartney and his music . Fast forward to 2023 . I feel like he's "late for the sky" and i miss him already ...

This Movie is Dedicated to Dave Walston from me. The movie itself wasn't that great but the sound track was Awesome! I have watched and listened to this song so many times and I think the choreography of this song...Ya was Awesome! I saw this movie at my friends house shortly after my girlfriend and I broke up and I was broke hearted...I could go on but I'm not. God Bless You All!!

Whats funny about this movie is that Ringo didnt want to play Beatles songs, because he had already recorded them, thats why is “looking” for some stuff during For No One, but then through the years he re-recorded many of his songs lol

if memory serves, the trumpet player who almost got beaned by the falling column is john barclay, same guy taught him taught me but i was never in his league, although i did do a tv session with him at granada, possibly for kate robbins. he could've wiped the floor with me but he was such a nice guy, friendly, chatty, no side to him whatsoever, just turned up, did the job and that was it. don't suppose you'll ever see this, john, and i don't suppose you remember me at all, but as the saying goes "the pleasure was all mine." hope you're ok.

I think this song is telling the story of The Beatles' career -- alluding to their early days when they played the Grosvenor Ballroom -- i in a particularly tough part of Liverpool with lots of Teddy Boy gang violence.

Well I used to smile when I was a pup Sailing down the Nile in china cup With the recipe for a lovely day Sticking out my back pocket But it wasn't always such a pretty sight 'Cause we used to fight like cats and dogs Till me made it up in the ballroom Ballroom dancing made a man of me One, two, three, four I just plain adore your Ballroom dancing, seen it on TV I got what I got from ballroom dancing Big b.d. Well I used to fly when I was a kid And I didn't cry if it hurt a bit On a carpet ride to a foreign land At the time of Davy Crockett But it wasn't always such a pretty sight 'Cause we used to fight like cats and dogs Till me made it up in the ballroom Ballroom dancing made a man of me One, two, three, four I just plain adore your Ballroom dancing, seen it on TV I got quite a lot from ballroom dancing Big b.d. Well went so fast and we all grew up Now the days have passed in the china cup Are the memories of another day And I wouldn't want to knock it But it wasn't always such a pretty sight 'Cause we used to fight like cats and dogs Till we made it up in the ballroom Ballroom dancing made a man of me One, two, three, four I just plain adore your Ballroom dancing, seen it on TV I got quite a lot from ballroom dancing Big b.d.
