When I talk about Wings as a band, I mean their partnership, not friendship. Paul allowed them to express themselves in the interests of their own project. But in the late 70s, he decided to start a solo career again, invented a scandal in Japan to increase sales of the failed Back To The Egg, deprived the band of the opportunity to tour and earn good money. A similar picture was in 1969, when Paul decided to leave. In both cases, he was not worried about the further fate of the partners. And now he goes to interviews and claims that he wrote Michelle alone, that the melody of In My Life belongs to him and that he wrote Strawberry Fields with John. Probably because the level of Wings songs is not up to the level of the Beatles.

Jane Asher was his prior love and were engaged until she caught him fucking around with another woman. Paul found out the engagement was over when Jane announced it on a TV talk show. She was and still is very independent minded. Paul must have known then never to get involved with a strong self made woman. As a matter of fact Jane was an actress before she met Paul who also refused to give up her career for his sake. One heck of an interesting gal in my opinion.

Paul basically tied Linda to the piano and make her learn it. Linda did not want to be part of it but the control freak Paul forced her to learn. She wanted to be a stay at home Mum/Wife but Paul wanted to ride the feminism wave. Paul as much admitted to being a control freak in an interview. It is on the KZbin somewhere. Even in Wings, his band mates did not like him. He was a penny pinching control freak.

No he had many Surgeries to look more like Paul. But I guess they needed Africa to help them shrink his head!!! I was so mad at 7 years old when l saw they switched him! In my young mind that was my boyfriend! You think I didn't recognize when he was a different guy, different Soul? I'll never understand how so many people were fooled!
