The most impressive part of this video besides Paul, is the age variance of people in the audience. Just goes to show, The Beatles will never die..as long as the music still plays.

This is one of my favourite Beatles songs. That bass line is sublime! And the corda in the original recording? What dreams are made of!

No one ever, ever will beat Sir Paul or the Beatles; they and their incredible, positive music indeed are eternal

I've decided to throw out my anti-depressant medication and simply bookmark this VID! I cannot imagine a more uplifting 2 minutes & 39 seconds anywhere. I can only hope that Paul keeps going for another 100 years because as far as I'm concerned ~ he's our world's trump card when it comes to musical entertainment. So much fun.

Sometimes music is so Powerful that you can just close your eyes and listen and take yourself right back to your childhood. I noticed a woman in the audience is doing just that. Thanks Paul! Thanks SampleX for such a clear version.

I saw Paul in concert about 3 years ago. I had tears coming down my face I was so happy to see him. I wish he would do some more dates in the U.S. :(

@MrRonnieG definitely their music will live on..i also owned some of their album, and DVD of their concert The first US visit, the shea stadium and some of mccartney's post beatles concert..my dad is quite amaze that i learned to not just like but love the beatles, that's why he enjoyed if i ask for a birthday or xmas gift a beatles album or a dvd concert..the best bday gift he gave me was a gibson J-160E VS..now that my dad is no longer around, the more i appreciate the beatles..
No one is acting, we were all loosing our sh!t as this was the greatest concert opener ever (plus the 10 min. multi-media piece leading into it was designed to build up tension like you wouldn't believe).

@MrRonnieG well i'm a little bit jealous of people who grew up with the beatles, i'm 21 and i'm definitely a beatles fan..i like them because my dad introduce them to me when i was 7..my dad bought me the dvd of this concert and @ almost 5 decades beatles' music is still in demand..they were and always be loved by all generations..and in fact i consider one of my greatest disappointment in life is to never see what a beatles reunion would have brought..

Cheap Trick recorded a pretty decent version of this song!
Every time I watch parts of this concert here on KZbin, I'm always amazed at the age group in the audience, from 4 to 70. If that's not recognition I don't know what is.

So much different than the teenagers The Beatles drew in the early days. Of course some of those teens are now in the audience and are grannies.

Paul Mc Cartney is a living god. I was there before the Beatles, When they came, the sky exploded, as a 9 yr old it was epic to behold. Elvis was big but the Beatles blew him and evreryone else away, I only wish people now adays could witness an atomic bomb on the music culture like the Beatles. I thank God for letting me be a little one when the Beatles came, it was magic on a whole new level

imagine being 14 when this song came out in 1967...as I was then! Yes, the whole world was frozen in time when the Beatles came into being. Beatlemania, as it was called then, left us not knowing who we even are. Minds blown. Nothing we'd ever seen. We didn't know what to do with it.

Paul does justice to the Beatles as does his back up guys. They sounds so much like the original group! I think it also puts to bed so many invectives people love to throw at McCartney. George, John, Paul, and Ringo, were all virtuosos and geniuses. We will never see another group reach a similar pinnacle of achievement.

What most (All) young people will never be able to comprehend is that on top of all of the artistry, when he (They) came along they changed EVERYTHING. Society itself changed using them as a catalyst. They are, and will be, forever unmatched in every way.

@MrRonnieG - Agree with you totally! Same here. Saw the Ed Sullivan Shows. Saw all the movies. Had all the albums. Anybody under 55 cannot begin to imagine how magical The Beatles were. They towered over the 1960s like a colossus. It was as if God decided to create a rock band and The Beatles were it. I saw Paul in concert in 1990. High point of my life. The System greatly feared John Lennon. The mere rumor of a McCartney can pack any venue in the world anytime. Look at the people!
