小4の時にテレビで初めて聞いて良い歌だなと思った。題名は知らなかったが、何か頭の中にいつまでも残っていた。題名を知ったのは高1の時。中学生の頃に友人からビートルズをすすめられ、アルバムを借りてカセットテープに録音した(MDがようやく一般的になりかけていた時代でしたが、私はまだカセットテープでした。)。そこからビートルズにハマった。その友人からすすめられたのは「Let it be」。私も気に入り、それこそ何回も聞いた。そのうち友人から借りたアルバムにない他の曲も知りたくなり、色んなビートルズのアルバムを今度はレンタル屋さんで借りた。そこにオブラディオブラダがあった。 「ああ。あの時聞いた曲だ。オブラディオブラダっていうんだ。」 って思った。余計にビートルズが好きになったのを覚えている。その事を母に話したら、 「ビートルズの日本公演の時は、凄い騒ぎだったんだよ。」 と言われた。その時に生まれていたかったなと思ったよ。有り得ない話だが、ビートルズの日本公演なんてあったら会社を仮病を使ってでも会社を休んで会場に行く(笑)。そんな私も今やビートルズファン歴15年をゆうにこえました。年取ったな(笑)。

I saw him in 2022 at Fenway Park. I've never seen such a diverse group of people, both race and age at a show before. People as old as 80+ and as young as 6 all SCREAMING the words to every single song. Right next to me and my wife was a college girl who could have been an Ambercrombie going insane like it was a Taylor Swift concert. The environment was absolutely insane. Top 3 concert I've ever been too. And this is no disrespect to Beyonce, but she doesn't have shit on Sir Paul McCartney.
