@@lumpylumpyloo that's where you are wrong man!! Its not about being old to know about beatles. Do you think Johnny Depp has any impact on entertainment history for his work, did he spark any motivation in younger generations to make more new art or movie?? Beatles has motivated everyone along the line to make best music!! Beatles not only considered best in history of music but also for pop culture. They literally changed the world!!! And you would be surprised that how much young generations listen and study beatles like myself I am only 22. Johnny Depp is famous but he is not even most famous in his own movie industry and you are comparing him to group of people who are still in trend after 60 years.

this video and song has literally changed my life. I've heard it back in 2013, was wondering who the singer is (shame on me, i had no idea who the hell Mccartney is). After that i've started listening to his new album, previous songs etc...i was going back in time, fell in love with Wings, and only after that i've became a fan of The Beatles. The best thing ever happened to me ^^

Welcome to Sir Paul McCartney, Wings and Beatlemania. Generations before you, in the present and future generations will get to know this timeless music, and the good news is, all the online technology brings it all to your devices. When I was 12, I first saw a big display in the center aisle of a department store of "Meet The Beatles". "Who are these guys I thought?" Some fad? And I only had TV to convey the music to me, and of course, my transistor radio. So enjoy the great & positive vibes- past, present and future! Paul carries on the message that the Beatles were all about - Love. Hate will never win!

Reading all the comments below makes me kinda sad, when I read people are saying Paul is desperate to make this song a hit or be relevant again, or that no one will care about this next month. We live in such a sad era in which success is equated to hits in Vevo and degree of popularity, in which the ignorance of very young people makes them say stupid things such as "Johnny Depp is a legend and Paul needed him for his video" or "a new piece of mediocrity" or "no one will remember this next month". Paul doesn't need to have a #1 hit in Billboard anymore, he's not Rihanna or Lady Gaga, he's an artists with some of the greatest hits in the history of music and he accomplished something even more important: his songs are still heard and remembered 40 years after he began his career because he meant something to a whole generation, he was a pioneer of the change from one era to another, his sings remain after years and years because of musical quality and symbolism. No, he doesn't need to be Miley Cyrus or Eminem or Lil Wayne. Paul was among the pioneers who created new structures for modern music, and other iconic bands and singers of both pop and rock, have used musical elements introduced by Paul McCartney in the first place. I am 20 years old but I have listened to more than Justin Beiber and Beyonce, I know the minimum there is to know about the history of music and I deeply respect Paul McCartney. So sad to read many comments here.

List of appearances: From Stylecaster: 0:14: Sir Paul McCartney plays the piano in Birkenstocks, Birkenstocks!!! 0:44: A pensive Johnny Depp (he’s probably thinking about seeing ex-Kate Moss) is sitting on the floor wearing a black and white stripped vest and numerous rings (how trendy!) 1:15: Model and musician Lily Cole head bops along with Depp, is fabulous. 1:20: Jack Savoretti looks on somewhat creepily from the staircase. 1:23: Tamara Rojo dances like no one is watching. 1:42: Tracey Ullman does the hand jive, or something akin to it. 1:46: Chris Pine dons a red beanie, goes for the boho vibe will tapping his hand on his leg. 1:56: All hail Tom Ford, in what are probably sunglasses of his own design. 2:05: Actress Alice Eve crawls seductively on McCartney’s piano. Soon Kate Moss will dance on it. 2:30: Who knew Jeremy Irons could pull off a straw fedora so well? 2:34: Jude Law gives Johnny Depp‘s pensive face a run for its money. God, he’s sexy. 2:39: James Cordon is all smiles. 3: 05: It’s MERYL STREEP, and wowza - she’s got moves. And there’s American filmmaker and artist, Liz Goldwyn on her far right. 3:20: Kate Moss reminds ex-boyfriend Johnny Depp what he’s missing by being all Moss-like and flaunting some serious butt cleavage. 3:25: Oh, hey Sean Penn, whats up?

Sir Paul McCartney - 50 years making hit albums. And his latest has been another top 5 hit all over planet earth. And his tours are still sold out, everywhere from south America to Japan. And he is still writing great songs such as 'Queenies Eye'. No other music artist has had such longevity in being as creative and successful as a recording artist.

One of the most beautiful aspects of this song to me was that it sounds just as though it was created by Paul McCartney and Wings back in the early 1970s! Love that early 1970s sound and feel of this song! Paul obviously still has the talent and insight to create inspiring music by nature!

Por suerte somos muchos los que escuchamos la buena música, solo que algunos no se dan cuenta.
@eynoedith
@eynoedith 10 жыл бұрын

Adam James Cooper Well said. It is a catchy tune for sure. I think it will be forgotten in 10 years. Certainly isn't a classic Macca song that will stand the test of time. But not every song you write is going to be Penny Lane.

They're amazing and it's indeed sad to think about the world without them. But i think it's a bit "arrogant/blind?" to think they're the only hope for music. Just look somewhat away from the super-mainstream music this day. If you want to see, you will see that there is a lot of amazing artists out there who can pass on the hope.

Then I hit repeat and thats when I realized I could do anything, Thanks to Paul :)
