God has given me a wonderful life so far - a beautiful childhood and adolescence, when I, living in a socialist country (Czechoslovakia - now I say fortunately :-)) I first heard the name Elvis Presley and the group Shadows on Radio Luxembourg. Then between a stream of quite uninteresting songs suddenly something completely new and refreshing sounded - and I didn't know who it was. So, when this new, musically really nice style came up again, I started watching the band's name - and it was called BEATLES! I accidentally found them for myself! Then I adored them for years and enjoyed their beautiful music for many years - even while studying medicine in Prague. I am now 74 years old and I enjoy their music just like when I was young.I even bought a guitar after 40 years and I try to play and sing Ticket to Ride :-) I'm really happy to see a lot of young people at this amazing concert. Thank you Paul, John, George, Ringo for still gilding my old years. Thank you ALL, and to you Paul and Ringo good health! Francis Lakatos.

His voice is just fine for 76. Especially considering he didn't have vocal training, unless he's done it in the intervening years. And that he smoked cigarettes for many years. Sinatra didn't sound so great in his seventies, either. In fact, Sinatra barely had a voice before he finally stopped performing.

I saw Paul perform at Hyde Park back in 2009. On the morning of the concert, I woke in absolute agony from what was a tooth abscess that had also badly infected my jaw, I was in so much pain I could hardly lift my head. I took strong painkillers and jumped on the train up to London, I could not talk to my partner as I was in so much pain. We arrived at Hyde Park on the most beautiful, hot, and sunny day standing with thousands of people waiting for Paul to come on the stage ( still had my head down as my jaw was killing me). Honest to God, when Paul and the band came on the stage, and he started singing, all my pain went away. As soon as the concert was over and we walked to the train station the severe pain started up again, but I had just had one of the best days of my life, watching the artist I have loved for over 55 years. Thank you for uploading Jesper Nielsen

GREAT to see Paul still enjoying playing live...My one big peeve is how RADIO and MUSIC TV pretty much REFUSES to play great music like this from aging musicians, although it is STILL amazing and even better than many young artists. She has always loved the songs of “our dears”. One of the favorites is Hey Jude, who sings well. Really, not disregarding others, in my opinion, Beatles will be remembered and passed on from generation to generation that enjoy and will enjoy their enormous charisma and talent. I can still remember to this day my introduction to the Beatles. It was the summer of 1980 and I was 13 years old. I grew up in a french canadian family whose mother listened to Joe Dassin, Enrico Macias, Adamo and so many more wonderful french and quebecois artists of the time. My exposure to Rock & Roll was practically nil. One day, a neighborhood young adult had left two records (on tape of course) by a pillar where he parked his car. One of them was Back In Black by AC/DC and the other was The Beatles Love Songs. I was hooked and still am to this day.

Paul's voice is a little flaky, considering hes pushing 80, its fully understandable. Whats really important is people are seeing and listening to a leading member of probally the greatest band in history and one of the greatest singer, songwriters of the past 100 years. Paul, John, George and Ringo were untouchable. If you havent already, go out and buy the Beatles album Revolver which is pure genius

His voice isn't as it was, but when you see him live it really doesn't matter. You are watching and listening to a living legend in the flesh who wrote dozens of songs that are all legends and masterpieces in their own right. He has seen and done more than any other musical artist that ever lived. It is truly humbling to be in his presence. If I can sing, play and write music when I am almost 80 as he does, well........He is a gift from the Lord and I am so happy I have seen him many times, spoken to him, and saw the man live.
