Watching this I was struck not only by the musicianship of these individuals but also the fact that Sir Paul has now played with this touring band longer than he played with the Beatles. An amazing performance - and they were only warming up!!

The Beatles are top tier icons. Although Paul would most likely agree they are not tippy top with the original greats such as Chuck Berry, and Little Richard.

In my opinion, either of those two could be called the king of rock and roll, along with Bill Haley. I know Elvis fans would disagree, but Chuck Berry and Little Richard are two of the founding members of that genre.
