Can't say I agree entirely regarding Damon (!) but do think Macca has lost next to nothing. Saw him at Hammersmith in 2010 and it was a superb night. The Olympics and Jubilee gigs attracted a lot of criticism and sniping because he seems to be the standard headliner for gigs of state but he is still the man.

@FlorKenis4 жыл бұрын
Hola!
@suicidame2 жыл бұрын
@abaltarbaltar27182 жыл бұрын

if it wasn't for the beatles songs he wouldn't sell out stadiums. he is the biggest artist in the world because he's a beatle, not because of his solo career.
@ewest142 жыл бұрын
@@pelgervampireduckHe wouldn’t be the biggest artist in the world with just Beatles material. That’s why John isn’t the biggest. Paul’s solo career has been very successful. He was the second biggest act in the charts in the 70s
@pelgervampireduck2 жыл бұрын
@@ewest14 His stuff after The Beatles has ups and downs. He has great stuff almost on the same level as The Beatles, but some horrible unlistenable records too. Both John and Paul needed each other to say "this is not very good, try harder" or "hey, this is good, this goes on the album". In the 70s he had good albums from Ram up to Wings over America, then a couple of not so good albums until "tug of war", that one is ok, then bad albums until "flowers in the dirt". since flowers all the albums are good until "driving rain". maybe it's me but I think he hasn't released a good album after "driving rain". since "chaos" all the albums have been mediocre :(
