then give the money to Ukraine.. let them protect the rest of the WEST

Oh if only it was that simple. Do you or I even think Putin or his successor won't try again? Of course they will, and possibly go further into a NATO allies.
Give money to Ukraine.... they need to protect from that monster

Obama and Merkel didn't have the guts to oppose Putin in 2014.

All of the Western leaders misjudged the intent and how Russian propaganda was influencing decisions. I didn't know about the entire situation in Crimes and the rest, you may be much like me, hearing about the "little green men with no insignia" but could we understand all of the ramifications?

Russia had to be given the opportunity to be a good citizen. Sadly Pootin chose to be a rogue nation. There is no democracy in Russia. We in the west didn't see that. Russia will never be trusted again and they won't be able to re-establish trade in Europe. 😮

$300 billion is it enough to rebuild all of Ukraine?

Not even close. It's closer to almost three times that much, especially if this horrendous war is allowed to continue. 😟

I saw someone in Ukraine pointing out Veteran's Hub was virtually shut down, except for one or two places. This organization helps veterans with PTSD, loses of limbs, brain injuries, and amputees. This "pausing" is illegal if it's something enacted by Congress. It started way back.

All this shows me is that the US is an unreliable Allie, with threats of tariffs, military actions towards Greenland. The reputation of the US is permanently tarnished.

If Ukraine had nukes Russia would not have invaded. Everyone knows that. It’s a pity they were convinced to do so by US President Bill Clinton. In fact, Clinton says it’s the one big regret he has from him Presidential term. 😢

---- < Hypersonic and cruise missiles like the U.S. Dark Eagle and Tomahawk missile system , and Intermediate range missiles like a non-nuclear Oreshnek are probably just as good as or more of a deterrent than an ICMB. I believe ICBMs are nuclear weapons. However, it may be that the speed of the U.S. minuteman III could be integrated into a non-nuclear missile.

You guys need to chill on Trump. My home is in Ukraine but I'm temporarily in the US. My wife and daughter are still in Ukraine. So, I have skin in the game. I voted for Trump and I'd do it again. Ukraine's freedom is much more secure with Trump than it would have been with the idiot he ran against. Putin fears Trump, for good reason. Trump doesn't play games, called Putin's nuclear bluff, and the man just gets sh1t done. Under all Trump's bluster, he's a compassionate man. He's not going to let Putin keep killing Ukrainians. Not gonna happen. He didn't stop the military aid to Ukraine and I read a few days ago he's thinking about increasing the aid - to put more pressure on Putin. Chill, relax, and let Trump do his thing. He's good at it.
@MrBudgiejoe20 сағат бұрын
This is Trumps big test. It’s easy to get a peace deal that favours Putin. Anyone can do that. But to broker a peace deal that ensures Putin cannot ever invade Ukraine again is much harder. Ukraine needs a deal with absolutely ironclad guarantees that Putin can’t come back again after a break! Nothing less is acceptable! This will be the REAL test of the “Art of the deal.”
