I was so sad today to waken up to this news this morning. I loved Paul and Lily so very much. I saw him many years ago in The Queen of Hearts in Manchester as Lily. He was wonderful and even Foo Foo Lammar was at the show. Paul and Lily (along with Peter Kay) have always been my favourite comedians - maybe because of the northern sense of humour. I totally agree with what Paul has said in this video and there are far too many homophobes in this world today. All my love to Paul's husband and his family. RIP Paul (Lily too). xxxxx

He didn't look well in this. I saw a photo of him taken last week and I thought he looked ill. Loved Paul, loved Lily. A staunch animal rights advocate. The rainbow bridge will be busy today. Rest easy Mr O'Grady

I thought the same and, in another video late last year, he didn't look well either. I just hope that the big C wasn't lurking as he seemed to have lost weight and looked quite drawn.

@@alisonriley763 Yes, he didn't look well at all like he had lost a bit of weight. I know he was usually thin, but to me he just didn't look right. Poor Paul, he was a national treasure x

I thought he looked ok. He’s had heart issues in the past so I was thinking that might be it?

@@alisonriley763 I thought he had lost a little weight , but I just thought that was because of the stress of leaving radio 2 , which I don't think he wanted to do .

@@jayneroper5592 Yes, he was always very slim and it could have been the stress. I don't think he was happy about leaving Radio 2. I sometimes got to hear him and he was brilliant - but that's The BBC for you in not wanting older people on there. These days, they just want bits of kids who can't even pronounce their words properly. Okay, he was a Liverpudlian - but didn't speak like some of them who sound like they've got a mouthful of catarrh!! You could understand what he was saying all the time. I'm a Manc - born and bred and some of them have vile accents too - especially a lot of Salfordians in the city next door to us!!

That’s disgraceful what happen Vauxhall tavern. Yes l totally agree London police should go down to the Vauxhall tavern apologise. Happened 1987. I totally agree with one comment too much homophobia. Aggression is not the answer. Abouse and excuse. Have a forfilling future London gay community. Love. Happiness. I live on the east coast of Australia. I’m a straight woman. 😢😊❤❤

The Met Police have never apologised for their awful behaviour and they never will. They just talk bollocks about lessons being learned but never hold themselves to account and they wonder why the public don't like or trust them. As a working class girl I've met some rude coppers who hear my accent and assume I'm scum. I work bloody hard full time in a stressful job and their attitudes are apalling its like they think their uniform makes them better than the public they're supposed to protect and serve
