Thanks for the wonderful review. I love the spreads you paint to test the colors so much. I also feel like Paul Rubens pans are better than the tubes. The tubed set I got had paints that feel kind of slimy and not very enjoyable to paint with. It looks like the pans don't have that issue.

It is very similar to the schmincke 24 pan set. I mean, Same colors.

Just a pointer - it's pronounced "blocks" (as if it ended in s and the X was silent), not "block X". Blockx (one of many surnames ending in "ckx" in Belgium) is a typically Belgian family surname. 😊

@@EveBolt that's alright - I only know because I partly grew up in Belgium and still have family there. Belgian names are kinda extra (love 'em)! 😆 One of my friends from back in Belgium has moved here (the UK) and people keep telling *her* that her name is mis-spelled (it isn't) ! "no, there really are that many consonants at the end, and yes, most of them sound the same/appear superfluous"...

@@gertietheduck this is not complete related but I think I read somewhere that French (I know, not the same, but the countries are neighbours and influence each other) words have so many letters that not pronounced because the printers were paid by letter, while in America they took out letters from the words, because the printer/typesetters were paid by word. :)
