Couldn’t have said it better👊🏽I’ve exp shops one man many cars waiting to bringing my car to a Sunday cruise and WTH just happened? Stress overworked small detail can get missed. Excited going LA cars waving me down stop hitting your switch!! I’m in my zone! with my son. What? Looks like a flame by my gas tank. I’m a flame or a spark. Me being a lil ignorant in my brougham keeps going it’s a youngster in a gbody on spokes only. Ready to hit the front off the exit 🔥I was wearing shorts my leg felt that and the quick blinded WTF is going on!! The whole cadi pancaked right center to block traffic. Car club members from rear helped push and they dumbfounded also WTH fresh out a reputable shop I won’t say no names they’re brand trunk open NO way! the other club says. Thank god one older rider quick on scanning! Why is your ground tapped to your gas tank on the top? and look nothing to the rack? The other end to my front seat bolt! Yeah easy disconnect some say? Toasted the seat bolt partial carpet burn. They saw the color flame up five cars behind me I’m already lost of what would do this 🤬 A used ground cord a dollar store looking ext cord to me🤬 nuts to motor all loose word on street they taking so much work heard complaints from newbies entering the game but my incident unacceptable safety hazard big time. You payout cash you know them personally did two cars in the past Overwork will make the best of us make decisions that should be done after some rest. I learned how to get it off the pavement that day two thick jumper cables roasted at end while putting your face to sparks watching car go up really slow and the cables roasting while doing it no mask Good buddies till this day from other club this was in 2003.

Lowriders are on another level. Sure you have extreme super cars and luxurious cars, but Lowriders are works of art .

I bought my first Impala in 1974 it was a 63 SS. It was originally a 409 car, but when I got it it had a base model 427 from a 67 Corvette, a 390 horse, with a power glide. You can't imagine how much I wish I still had it. It's still one of my favorites! PEACE ✌️

This is a thing of beauty, a 64 year old piece of art. In 2087 I don't think there'll even be a 2023 car still running, but I bet this '59 will still be running and looking sharp.

i live down the road from Paul and see him cruising down the highway in his different Impalas. They're all definitely head turners. Seen this one in person at car meet's before this work. Cant wait to see it now.

To me it's not just how beautiful and detailed the paint is. There is always a story or meaning to the car owner. But yeah, Also the insane amount of detail and love that goes into these cars is unmatched... There most likely is not a single owner who hasn't touched,seen,worked on, cleaned, or shined on every single square inch of their vehicle..

While watching this show, something kept nagging at me because I knew there was something wrong, but I couldn't immediately put my finger on it. Not soon after I found it - Shorty is racist. Let me explain. While working at Joe's shop from Iron Resurrection whenever a new Caucasian employee would start Shorty would bust his ⚾️🏀 relentlessly, but if the new guy was Puerto Rican he'd try to be as helpful as possible and once Shorty got his new show he hired nothing but Puerto Ricans. These are the facts, so if that doesn't scream racist then nothing does.
@richardsmith3136Ай бұрын
If that's your ideal of racism, you have had a very sheltered life sir. If you knew ANYTHING about Mr. Javier and his history with the car culture in this part of Texas, you would know that he carries no ill-will towards anyone. He is about cars and helping people to achieve their dreams and aspirations when it comes to preserving, restoring or resurrecting these often neglected classics. His clients and friends are a reflection of that passion. He obviously selected a crew that he considers "family" and that would help him to get the shop (and the show) off the ground. There are many sacrifices that people have to make so that these shows even have a chance to get selected for wider distribution and some people won't even consider it making those sacrifices. You're generalization speaks more to your short-sided nature and perhaps ignorance about race in general, and humanity as a whole quite frankly. Not a criticism sir, just an observation I guess. Enjoy your life...and hopefully, the show, because it shows a labor of love being done by true craftsmen, who enjoy doing what they love with people that they love being around everyday. Who can find fault with that?
