I’m 55, just found a 30 year old absolutely gorgeous Filipina, sweet as can be, educated, has money, her own business (a private school and a cafe), a car, comes from a good family… and she loves me and just wants a kind man to be with her thru life’s way. We are planning to marry in four months and I will live at her place in the province so she can be near to her family and friends and keep her business. I’ve already done everything I want in life. Being with her at her home town is a small sacrifice to have such a wonderful woman. I’m literally beginning a new life.
@danielhackney7806
@danielhackney7806 9 ай бұрын
Sounds good, I'm a bit surprised she lives in the province. Most video's I watch say the type of girl you describe lives in the big cities. You didn't mention if she has kids or if you guys plan to have kids if she doesn't have any. Are you leaving behind any kids you have when you move permanently to the Phil's?

good vid Mike. you and Paul are me. im 68 years old living in Michigan all my life. im the rational economic man. "if i dont need it, i dont buy it." i have plenty of retirement assets. but i dont have the big yank to take on Filipino partner and get her set up for when i die. i like my space and being totally independent. the obligations and requirements of a serious relationship is more stress and obligation than i need at this point in my life. been there, done that. i know it means spending more time alone, but im good with that. i can always watch guys like you on youtube and post comments like this😂

The first time I moved to the Philippines, I was just 18 years old. I lived in Angeles City and was assigned to Clark Air Base from 1980 to 1988, with a one-year break. When I retired from the Air Force 24 years ago, I moved to the Philippines to marry a longtime girl friend. My wife and I are now snowbirds and divide our time between homes in Oregon, Manila, and Eastern Samar, where we also have a very successful boarding house/café. When bored, or have the time lol, I watch both of your channels with my neighbor, who is also retired military with a long history of living in the Philippines. This gives us something interesting to talk about. We compare our experiences with what is being discussed on both channels. You are providing some very helpful information. Great job. Keep it up.

You two are great I’m really enjoying these videos I’m a lady from ohio. I can totally see why men go there to find ladies. Very interesting. You two seem to have done it right. You are happy and treat your wives well that’s why they treat you well and stay with you. Looking out for them even after death makes them feel stable. All women want that. I think the relationships that don’t work out seem to be not so nice guys attracting not so nice girls. Also age is def just a number. My husband and I are 13 years apart and are best friends and get along great. Keep doing what your doing lead your best life. Enjoy! Always lead with kindness.

Paul's lesson about selling condo too many months before moving to PI is a valuable one for guys to take heed I have a house that I will want to sell when I hit 62 in 4 years. If I decide to make that move, I will sell it but move everything into storage and live in my car probably, with ups office address probably. With an occasional motel stay for a break.

Fantastic information guys!!👍👍 I just turned 66 myself. Might be making my way to the Philippines, at some point in the future. I'm semi-retired. Driving a school bus now. Waiting for that guaranteed state pension, that I'll have, to lock in, in 5 more years. Got full social security locked in already. I'll probably be 70 plus, by the time I get there. Lol😅 But, I'm in great health. Thanks for the medicare part b info. I was wondering about that. I think I'll keep that as well. Never know what's gonna happen, down the road. I agree…if you’re qualified with a skill, take months off EVERY year and travel. After I married a Filipina, I was able to be home months at a time, and work back in the USA months at a time as needed. Different time…different world. I started going to Asia and Europe for work in the 80’s. Maybe I was lucky. Courting women was “old school”. Once you find a keeper, make babies and work as little as possible. Enjoy life. I finally retired in 2024… looking forward to chasing the grand babies around the coconut tree….😊.

Mike, thanks for this video. Paul is the inspiration for us all. The most important thing I got from this video is patients and time. Get to the Philippines lay your foundation. And just be patient. The bureaucracy is slow. But it gets done. Both of you are doing it right. You’re just at different stages.

I planned during my working years and accumulated more money after divorce, which brought me to zero. I learned my lesson. So now I'm waiting for my FRA for SSI to get more money again. Starting over in the Philippines is wonderful. Old Dog is great at keeping us informed about what to do, if we ever lose everything.😅
