Kevin John Sheedy AO was born Christmas Eve 1947 in Melbourne and brought up in a tight Catholic family. He was initially playing football with the local Try Boys Society team while attending De La Salle College, in which future teammate Kevin Bartlett had also participated. He played senior football with Prahran at only 16 years old in the Victorian Football Association. Can you believe it? A teen holding himself amongst men!
But things didn’t go smoothly with Melbourne's team, so he returned to Prahran, shining in the club's Second Division premiership team in 1966. Did you know Sheedy also served in the Australian Army? Between 1969 and 1971, he rose to the rank of corporal before discharge. Who knew this football legend was also a disciplined soldier?

What did he lack in natural talent? He was an incredibly talented footballer, with amazing athleticism (particularly pre-injuries) for his size. His ruckwork was brilliant, as was his forward craft

Why is his life sad? He seems to be living a great life and supporting community issues where he can. I appreciate the video, but the content was light. I'm sure you will get better. Great effort.

the clickbait title of these videos is counter productive. Footy fans will always watch info about Ledgend afl players. yr dunstall vid suggesting wifes secrets was poorly tltled considering the fairly good content
