The short answer is, because he was on Thunderstick business !!! He didnt stop being Thunderstick when he left Samson. In fact, I spoke to him today and he is still Thunderstick !

There were some rehearsals and jams at various times, but never anything official. Paul originally wanted Clive to play in the 'Joint Forces" band in 85, along with Himself, Nicky Moore and John McCoy, but it didn't work out.

Greetings, PaulSamsonArchive... did Samson played with Clive Burr in 1987? Was there a return of this drummer for a short period?
