good solid performance. Thought Barclay looked comfortable but hope this will be his last game in that position and we get some bodies in this week... If the chairman wants Championship football in the next 5 years then we need to start splashing his cash. It will be interesting to see whether Simmo gets the memo (he hasn't so far....)

We know there's room for improvement, and it's up to the Boss and his team to do that. Still happy to give him until Christmas (unless there's another total collapse) and see where we are. Have always had faith in Simmo, but even I know, as does he that the club comes first. On another note, any win over Barrow is great in my books. COYB 💙💙

Totally disagree The Gillingham performance was far better but we won today so people see a win and thinks it’s good performance just shows how the general public don’t understand football

We won, but Paul Simpson, if we want promotion, you need to bring players in that are dangerous we need to be attacking we need to be more threaten against the importance of where Paul Simpson let’s be better yes it’s a win it’s a win well done thank you. we we need to look more dangerous we need to be threatening teams and we didn’t have that today but just don’t look we don’t look like a team that we’re going to get promoted we’re looking absolutely shocking yep we won and absolutely pleased about that. Couldn’t wish for our first fixture any more I’m delighted we won but Paul we’ve got to throw everything we need to win. We need to promote. We need to be the best team in league two you don’t have any tools in our tool bug to do that, we look sloppy. Kelly was alright - should've been on a lot sooner than he was - Wyke was knackered after an hour - Simmo takes a few chances with his late subs. Vela & Neal put in a shift today - it's what's needed every game. Adu-Adjei looks excellent as did Archie Davies.
