So true; the Fonz nails it again. Although, I could argue if they really wanted to go out "on top" they could have called it in 1977 after the Alive 2 Tour. It's been a steady decline since then. Then again, I was so grateful to see them in 1996 twice for The Reunion Tour, but that's my limit for sure.

In fact it was tommy who helped ace out a lot during the time when ace and peter got back with gene and paul, or did you not know that???

The way this has all turned out, I wish Peter and Ace would have refused the reunion and a respectable legacy could have been had. If only Kiss had stopped in the early 2000s. Paul still sounded good (most of the time), original line-up was there, Psycho Circus was a decent album… I believe the fans would have much happier memories and Kiss’ legacy would be more appreciated.

They hated Ace bc he was so likeable. Gene was the business and Paul was supposed to be the face but at all the Interviews everyone wanted to talk to Ace. He was funny, nice, and down to earth.Thats why they really had a problem. With that said, I like Tommy's work.

I hated seeing Ace and Peter play I Love It Loud, Lick It Up, and Heaven's On Fire. Something about it just didn't sit right and with me and it felt wrong. They didn't even touch anything from the 90s anyhow. Which is probably just as well anyhow because I don't think Peter could've played Eric Singer's drum parts from Revenge and Carnival of Souls.

He sings the first part of Detroit Rock City and a few lines near the end. He sings the intro to Black Diamond. He used to sing the middle section and outro to Hide Your Heart but they don’t play that anymore. He used to sing the end part of Psycho Circus but they don’t play that anymore they put a drum solo there. That’s about it. He’s certainly yelling stuff out in between the fake vocals like the city name and telling people to sing or clap etc. Gene mimes God of Thunder. Thanks for the question.
