Always a controversial topic for believers between certain denominations on the interpretation of whether certain things in the Bible are literal and some metaphorical. Hence why we have so many denominations and stand by so many beliefs. 😅

I'm still confused about the use of symbols as understood by Tillich. I find it very much risky and kind of elitist as well. I need to read and understand better !
