I grew up or rather... I was raised as a Catholic. By the time I was 15-16 or so, I became atheist, and then eventually Agnostic. For the last many decades, I was not religious or spiritual in any way. As well, I thought "aliens" or NHI was complete BS. Over the last 6 or so years, I opened my mind to the idea of an NHI presence, and did a great deal of research. It's a hobby of mine. The further I go down the NHI rabbithole, the more I begin to believe that "god" described in many ancient cultures, along with angels, Demons, spirits were really describing NHI. When you had said Elohim means "Powerful ones" (plural), it really makes sense to me. Angels were not described as beautiful humans with wings and a halo. After decades of being an atheist, I now suspect that the ancient cultures and religions were describing both benevolent and Malevolent NHI, who have god-like abilities. But mistranslated, misconstrued and misunderstood over thousands of years.

It seems that western christian countries were under a spell: they were reading, but couldn't understand what is written. I was born and schooled in atheistic communistic country. I knew what is OT about, but couldn't get NT before I saw demons with my own eyes, and a young priest bashing them into submission with the Authority of Christ's Name. From that day I know that OT is a history book and NT is a manual for fighting against evil entities who are constantly attacking us and feeding on us. Almost everybody I talked to would let everybody out of Hell! Sure maybe under certain conditions but there was mercy! How can we be more merciful than God?!?!?!?!
@spiceynye8135 ай бұрын
This is what confused me so with clergymen that tried to justify the old testament stories of genocide and convince people this is a loving and merciful God. And I would think how is it that I am more compassionate than this God everyone believes in. It was this whole misunderstanding and mistranslation of the bible since I was 13 convinced me something is seriously not right in the world. So I became even more sceptical of people and as an Empath I never quite fit into social norms and I've been bullied and made fun of but it's okay. I spend much of my time alone because I can't handle the negative energies that I absorb from other's all the time.

Burning in hell means burning in your desires. All of your senses, what you see, hear, touch, taste, think, & do can be obsessive behaviors. When your desires, on this material plane, rules your life, you are in slavery & in hell. There is no freedom, no peace. All desires are found in the root chakra. It is the number one thing that man must overcome. This means anything dealing with the material world. Ambitions for wealth, power, sex, addictions to food, drink or substances. These things can control you and that is when you're in hell.

Paul, what is your opinion on NDE and the afterlife? My father is hard-core Christian and is sadly passing. His main concern is that I believe in Jesus. I don't want to cause him unnecessary pain, but I cannot lie, fake or believe in something that I don't. I have studied world religions for 20+ years and have followed you for about 4 years. He also has been an academic pastor, teacher and student for his whole life. I began a different path around 15 years ago realizing that there is more from my studies. Reading the ancient writings, Zechariah Sitchin, The Enuma Elish, etc. I began searching for truth and haven't stopped. My question is, if someone follows Jesus and someone else follows say, Quan Yin or does not worship anyone, just lives a moral and kind life, will we see each other again? I assured him, we will and that I will do my best to make absolute certain, but I know Christianity is NOT my path. I am only now healing from my religious trauma and knowing what I know now, I can't go back. It would be like using crayons on paper compared to painting the Sistene chapel in oils. What is your academic and life experience telling you?
@KarinHopkins-m1d2 ай бұрын
Follow your inner heart directing you. You are on the right path. Tell your father you love him. Nothing else is required from you. He is out of line by demanding you step into the trap he is in. I was in that trap for 50 years before my mom’s loving prayer was answered when she saw I tried to survive having been deserted with 4 half grown children from this man on my hands. I lived 100% Christianity before my mom’s prayer that God would give me Light was answered. That took place in the 1980 th. She died in 1989. I now am 85 years young and only woke up to the truth about 5 years ago. I stopped being a blood drinker. That rubbed a few people the wrong way. But no more of this so harmful activity for me. I still honor and respect Yeshua, talk to him and accept him as my elder brother. But drinking his blood or eating his flesh is a crime against him. I asked him to forgive me for having done that in my past. I know now the same life giving substance that operated in him is operating in me and in every living being.

The twisted doctrines we were given are meant to generate fear which the conscious entities influencing humanity feast on. In this life right now simply strive to live as Jesus lived. Don't forget that Jesus knew nothing of the religion Christianity. He knew nothing of the people who would venerate an image of his execution on the cross. I don't think he would have wished for his disciples to focus on his death. Instead he said he was the way. He told us to follow him. He meant that quite literally, as did those who came before him like Hercules who had 12 trials, Jesus had the 12 stations of the cross. We are to follow in his footsteps and do what he did. He didn't yell about hell. He fed the hungry, tended to the sick and weary, gave comfort to the unwanted and discarded and wasn't fond of religious people who were performative in their practice.

you have to realize that what Paul is saying is true, but there is a final judgement in the fire which is written in the book of Revelations. Torah says it is appointed for all men to die once, but the the judgement and failing that judgement (white throne) you are cast into the lake of fire which is the second death. No eternal suffering you are just removed from the Kingdom and the Universe. So it is an eternal punishment, but not a cruel penalty where you suffe physically for eternity.

I’ve never been what people would call “religious” but I do believe in God and Jesus. I had a set of books in my bedroom as a child that told all the most famous bible stories. I loved those books. I’d read them over and over studying the illustrations. Now at 56 I think about those stories and see them in a whole new light. Thank you!

The key take away from this video is at @25:45 Paul you are 100% spot on with this notion. Not only does it entice us back to scriptures; but it inspires us to seek the purest form of scripture for personal analysis? It's almost as if the entire narrative is hidden in plain sight and with additional context we unlock the meaning of what was once cryptic accounts open to interpretation? With disclosure comes the potential "uncloaking" of the true meaning of of the scriptures, in my opinion? It's happening to me now. Raised a Christian, 1-12 at All Saints Anglican school (and all along the way I felt as though there were so many discrepancies that made no sense? I had many questions about what was being interpreted as being said; not questions about what was being claimed to be said? That the repetition of accounts of stories were not congruent? That there was variability in the belief of how the event unfolded? I felt like this is a key aspect about the Christian Bible that just never got taught about or even mentioned? That most of the time there was no discussion around meaning or interpretation of anything at all; other than 'oh that's just because it's the same story being told by someone else?' well dah of course I thought to myself.....but the point I couldn't articulate at the time at school is that there was no acknowledgement of this in the teachings let alone the texts..... at school there was only ever the use of passages within various different books/verses of the Bible and how that particular story ties back to something occurring in our modern day to correlate it? Nowhere was there anyone unlocking the correlations and literally treating events forensically by using each witness story as "circumstantial evidence" that verifies the event as possibly being something that happened for real in human history? Instead we have been taught to dumb it down as they churches use scripture as tool to manipulate people's perceptions? The clearest evidence of this being accurate is the fact that religious cults constantly claiming the end of days as a leverage to have followers repent and congregate at the church. They use fear to manipulate and this does not seem like authentic Christian behaviour? This is why I'm against joining churches now? I believe that I've become more "religious" and "spiritual" having less exposure to church, but spending more time absolving the what it means to be a good Christian in the eyes of God the creator? That when it occurred to me that there is only few words within the Bible that are believed to actually be the words of God the creator? The prime example being the 10 commandments. I realised that the notion of church is merely a modern day concept that was brought about to provide a place of safe refuge to be able to pray without persecution...... If we ONLY follow the 10 commandments, then that is good enough. No more than the 10 commandments is required in the eyes of God. EVERYTHING else is merely stories that are real world examples of people who follow the commandments and those that don't follow the commandments...... They are examples for us to find the interpretation of and connect the core meaning or message back to 1 of the 10 commandments? They are running examples so that we can apply the 10 commandments throughout all aspects of our lives and what we can expect as the result if we do so? If you can get all the inspiration you want and don't need those stories and you choose to just apply the 10 commandments, that's all that matters. It doesn't matter how many Bible verses you read, it only matters how much inspiration you gain to apply the commandments in your life? That's why they are called the 10 commandments and not the 10 suggestions. That means those 10 things are ALL that matters nothing else in any story matters more because they are not commandments and they are not the words of God anyway? There's no sin in rejecting any story either. We are free to do so because there is no requirement of us as humans to believe in anything other than the 10 commandments. Simple as that. God wants to be good human beings and to live as good human beings to show others...... God doesn't think any higher of you because you gave up every Sunday of your life devoted to the church? Even accepting responsibilities as being a church member and being asked to do other things other than giving that 1 day to God...... Goes against the 10 commandments. Church unless it's holding a holy safe refuge for those seeking to pray in safety...... Is basically a capitalistic entity not a religious one.

PAUL: Then why did Jesus say: ".....rather fear Him who can destroy both body and soul in hell "? That doesn't sound like the earthly Gehenna
@GloballyEnglishESLtutoringSolo5 ай бұрын
The verse you're referring to is from the book of Matthew 10:28, where Jesus says, "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell." This verse is often interpreted to mean that one should not fear human threats or persecution, but rather have a reverent fear of God, who has ultimate authority over both physical and eternal life¹. The term "hell" in this context is translated from the Greek word "Gehenna," which was originally a physical location outside of Jerusalem known as the Valley of Hinnom. In Jesus' time, it was associated with the burning of refuse and had historical connections to child sacrifice. Over time, it became a metaphor for a place of final judgment and punishment¹. The earthly Gehenna was indeed a real place, but in this verse, it's used symbolically to represent a state of destruction or judgment beyond physical death. The emphasis is on the power and sovereignty of God, rather than the physical location of Gehenna. It's a call to recognize the gravity of spiritual matters and the ultimate consequences of one's actions and relationship with God¹.

@@GloballyEnglishESLtutoringSoloQUESTION IS, did Jesus exist, was he not invented by Romans. If you are educated in the Bible, prove where it is written that the messiah will have miraculous birth, then die and then resurrected, prove I, is it similar to pagan doctorines. Isaiah 11:1-10 is clear that the messiah will fear God, means he will be humanbeing not God. The prophesies in the new testament are totally out of context and cherry picking. God is perfect, powerful, supernatural, then how can He change the covenant, infact it is written that God covenant is everlasting means not changeable, it is written God's word will not return empty but will be fulfilled, where did Jesus as the messiah fulfilled the prophesies, Isaiah 2:4 .did he. ? God's plan is perfect, the messiah will fulfill all the prophesies outright not in installment plans, if it is the the words GOD IS PERFECT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.

I've heard of many NDE stories. But there seems to be a smaller percentage of those, although I haven't yet determined an approx ratio of those would be considered experiencing something akin to hell. Can't throw it out just yet. But something Paul said earlier in this video which is something I thought of some years back when thinking about implied logistics of reality beyond this known physical. A resultant eternity placement vs a single finite experience, doesn't add up logically. It's like, if you exist in some form, say a soul/consiousness once your body had died, then you must have existed prior to birth. Again, logical. Reincarnation makes more sense in that regard.

What I always found paradoxical about the doctrine of heaven and hell was how performative it made everything. Like, if you’re so desperately afraid of eternal damnation and are desperate to get to heaven when you die, that every action you make is decided through that lens, how can you say you’re following in Jesus’s footsteps with being selfless and loving unconditionally? That fear/desire by default makes every good deed you make selfish at its core. Most hardcore catholics/christians I know do charity work not because they care for the less fortunate but because they want to make themselves look better/rank higher in God’s eyes.

there is an eternal death in the lake of fire which consumes you and takes you out of the Kingdom. Revelations 20:11-15. It is called by Yahshua (Jesus) the second death, and if anyone that has been found written in the book of Life will be consumed there. Paul is absolutely correct that Yahshua always referred to the Gehenna fire which was the place outside the city gate where garbage abd carcasses were burned up on a daily basis. That is why he said the worm does not die because theres always new rotten food and trash, but at the white throne judgement if you have failed to accept Yah's ways and commnadments you will face the second, eternal death in this fire. You must be aligned with YAH'S WORD, you cant live in the world's system and be found blameless by our Savior and the Father. Bible says there are two roads you can take, the wide one that leads to destruction (death) or the narrow path which leads to Eternal life, and Yahshua said there are few that find that narrow road.

I agree with this. I have far more insight to this than most, and agree with the referenced council's decision. When people realize that 40% of the texts they use to define religion were left out, and when people realize of those that were included 60-80% were or have been corrupted, we may be ready for first public contact.
