Into the Water? Yeah that book greatly disappointed me. Just the transitioning of every character and stuff...it was extremely overwhelming and very mumbling

Thank you so much for this incredible presentation and it would joy to see the Writer. It’s such a joy. I’ve seen the movie several times and every night I go to bed. It’s been three or four months every time I go to bed. I listen to girl on the train yes it’s so I think I know every line now and it is the best narration ever is narrated by 3 Women from the UK I think one of them is an actress and it’s just incredible. I thank you so much for this novel. Thank you so much for bringing so much joy. I would like to comment a little bit on this video this incredibly annoying and appalling at the beginning where the writer is looking for her glasses and starting to Tell about Rachel that Rachel had drinking problems and that at this very moment that the woman with the glasses who was presenting the writer at the beginning she just laughs and I find this absolutely appalling because Rachel’s problems with alcohol that’s not fun at all the rate Rachel’s problems with alcohol were because of her husband the abuser and I find this absolutely pulling. I hope you read this apologies I apologise I don’t know your name but the presenter you were laughing and I don’t think you understood this novel at all I don’t think I think youwere just a joke. If this was a joke for you then you are a joke and such disrespect for the writer who is who heard you laughing? It’s such incredible disrespect. I can’t believe that people like you can be involved in this. You should just find another job is absolutely incredible. What a disrespect you acted like a 15-year-old teenager have no respect.

Odd how the audience found humor in several dramatic scenes, even though it's obvious the remarks were Rachel's self-depreciating insults. I've listened to it a few times, and credit to the author for bot being insulted. As the author said, it's not a laugh-a-minute novel.

I thought the exact same thing! The remarks weren’t funny. The character is broken!

Exactly. I just was so surprised watching these americans cracking laugh here and there. Disgusting. And not to mention that plump, hard-to-move lady in glasses. The way she was laughing...got on my nerves.. I don’t think they are even readers anymore..

I found the old gentleman so adorable :D as for me, writing sex is almost illegally too easy - but then again - i don't have the restrictive things of "my parents will read it" they don't read English ^^ I did share a whole scene on my facebook page and i got some readers quite blushing and heated up for some real live action desires and hopes

Absolutely agree with you and at the beginning where the presenter is just laughing when the writer is reading about Rachel‘s drinking problem and the presenter is just giggling. This is a polling what a disrespect why is she even there? She didn’t understand and did she even read it? How can you and how can you laugh? Even at somebody who had drinking problems? Rachel? She just laughed at the cat Rachel‘s characters. What did disrespect to the audience but mostly to the writer who was right near her and of course she heard her laughing that’s absolutely incredibly disrespect no words to X , express this this is absolutely incredible

absolutely agree how can you laugh at somebody who had drinking problems? It’s about the character. It’s about the book. Rachel is the one of the main characters of the book. How can you present a book and then laugh at it while the writer is talking about this main character and her her alcohol issues and the writer is right next to her that is absolutely appalling. What a disrespect.

I gave it a thumbs down - not for Paula Hawkins fine reading, but the audience's appalling behavior. They had a nasty habit of snickering at the worst moments, to the point Paula paused for a second. I read the book and listened to it on MP3, and have never found ANYTHING in the story to be funny. The heartache in Rachel's voice is overwhelming, and it bothered me to no end that the audience found parts of Paula's reading funny. Incredibly rude if nothing else, and give the author credit for having a very thick skin!

I really couldn't get into this book at all since I really didn't care about the central character Rachel. This just confirms to me I didn't miss anything from the author's reading of a passage - very banal. Not something I would bother with. Maybe the film will make the story more interesting.
