Dr v rittan or whatever her name is… she’s the one who seems disingenuous.. she seems mostly negative and only purely positive when it comes to her own products that she sells on her website. When looking into her skincare products, I actually found that she has a bunch of negative reviews from effectiveness of the products down to customer service…idk just my opinion, yours may differ.

Happy Sunday! I walk my dogs a couple miles every day and my goal this summer is to sunscreen properly and avoid getting that "tan line" on my upper arms. I suppose I could do the walk in a long-sleeved shirt, but when it's 85 out I think I would be miserable. Thanks Dr. Dray for educating us all about not just skincare and sunscreen but overall healthy habits!

I use the tranexamic acid product from Inkey List. I hav been using for almost a year now on post acne/blemish hyperpigmentation. It works very well. The caveat is that i let my spots/pimples alone without picking them. Another thing I have noticed is it does not help with sun spots. Of course sunscreen helps with keeping hyperpigmentation down. But you guys already know that ☺️

Hiya! My beau and I are frenchpress-lovin’ coffee snobs, and during Covid we started ordering coffee directly from Peet’s. Ordering directly from Peet’s is a tooooootally different coffee experience than buying their coffee in a grocery store or even from a Peet’s coffee stand. When you order whole beans directly from their mothership (via their website), they ship the same they they roasted the beans, so by the time it gets to our house, it was roasted at most 3 days ago. It is SO good- like, total game changer. We drink their “Major Dickasons” half-caf roast, and it kicks my arse in the mornings, even at half-caf if you can believe it. In the evenings if we’re jonesin’ for another cup, we’ll switch to their decaf House Blend, and it is *wonderful.* So, that’s my little coffee recommendation as a fellow decaf kinda chick. Enjoy! And thank you so much for your videos. Happiness is hearing you say, “Well hey guys!”

Happy Sunday, all! I finally scored the last bottle of the new Cerave tinted sunscreen at Walgreens. $17, plus $3 coupon, not a bad price. But it was a bit orange for my fair skin. @@nicolecasavant5308 Hi! I've tried so many of the sunscreens Dr. Dray recommends, and have a backup supply of some I got on YesStyle that I haven't opened yet. My faves are the LaRoche Posay Anthelios and the ColorScience Face with the ColorScience eye protection over it. But they're expensive. Was hoping to find a sunscreen under $20-$25, but I rationalize it this way: My skin has improved so much since watching Dr. Dray's channel, I no longer wear foundation or much makeup at all.. I also like Vanicream sunscreen and Altruist sunscreens, but the latter is hard to find for me.

Turbie twist "hack" for longer hair, trust me, it's *great* you just fold the towel in 2 length-wise, and sew one end shut. Tadaa! I have a couple, got microfiber towels from the fitness section and had it sewn shut one end. I secure it with a claw (medium size, like the ones you wear) at the nape (to the rest of the towel)... and it's amazing, lightweight. But it takes a tiny bit of sewing work. And it is *superb* for long hair. I have classic length (over the booty) wavy/curly hair and so just thought of this as they just do not sell turbie twists for longer hair!!! It's a gap in the market, I tell you. Some brand should jump on it. Not just make it longer, but for sure twice as long!

My hair is fine, thick but long, and it's wavy/curly. I can't air dry it all the way. It takes 8+H and with my SD (seborrheic dermatitis) that is a no-go. So I towel dry 30 minutes, then air dry 2 to 4H max. and then all I need is a quick diffuse with my blow dryer, and my mantra for heat is, warm/cool and as long as you can hold your hand or a more sensitive part of you in the air flow without it burning, it is an *ideal* temperature for the hair. I have to use a blow dryer. Keeping it wet for a day can't be healthy, IMHO, with my issues.

One of the great advice I got from de. Dray was using a towel to dry my hair and washing everyday. Got rid of forhead acne and oiliness from hair. I even bought those brush from scalp and use every other day. My hair has less split ends, less oiliness, and I think the conditioner i use for volume...really works.sonce nothing else goes on...no styling!!! Thank you for that!!! Mt family look at me so weirdly like I got a towel...you want one I am like nope. I am comfortable like this. And love taking that towel off in 25 to 30mins later 8n slowmo lol

Stellar content week. I've tried topical Tranexamic acid formula's: Skinmedica, Skin Ceuticals and Hada Labo and as much as I wanted them to work magic on my 60 year old freckles -fail. But who knows, might work for some, it's semi gentle. After all, skin pigmentation stems from so many avenues. I have super sensitive skin now because I've tried it all in a bottle from home this past year. I mean that on my skin (ha ha but seriously) and my skin wants peace and quiet. Time for all the gentlest cleansers i.e. Vanicream and sunscreen now. And after all, Sunscreen all the derms say; it's the number one best for the skin. Thanks again Dr Dray. You are appreciated.

Tyrosinase inhibitors work by suppressing the formation of new pigmentation. It doesn’t physically remove what you already have… but it can if you are extremely diligent with sun protection because it will slow your skin to heal on its own without more UV damage and more of an onslaught of pigmentation. An exfoliants like an AHA will increase the turnover to slough off the already pigmented cells. Lasers too.

I loved your short hair cut a lot. Do you have any thoughts on going shorter now that your hair is healthy. I cut mine back short because of the Florida heat. Thank you for all your videos. Love them all.

I love that you're using arrowroot powder! Try granny smith apples for less sugar/more nutrition. You might like the book Eating on the Wild Side.

I like the original Lash Sensational mascara. If you don't like the Sky High, try the regular one. It's the best drugstore one I've found since Ulta no longer sells Thrive mascara.

I have similar "serums" (oil/silicone blend rather) from my local Aldi & Lidl, nameless, brandless (well "Kyrell" in Aldi for Belgium, and "Cien" in Lidl) but they're just as great as the Kérastase, and I have had the more expensive things, for sure. Kérastase is an amazing brand, don't get me wrong, but in the end it's all the very very same. So now I stick to... as cheap as I can get them.

I recently saw a video by a cosmetic dermatologist who stated that hyaluronic acid has a long term drying effect on the skin. Is this true? I'd very much like to hear your opinion on this Dr Dray.

I just got the Sky High Mascara today. I tried the waterproof version, and definitely gave more length and volume than the other Maybeline I’ve been using for years, but it started flaking off so bad ! Anyway, hoping the non waterproof version will work out, plus waterproof is probably not as healthy for your eyelashes anyway. 🤔

@@thomasklaasen6649 Hey! I haven't noticed any dramatic changes just that it's slightly lighter. I mean the pigmentation, but still there😢 maybe it's just me and it's not working for me. I really wanted it to work

Dr. Dray. I love applying HA, and other products to my face after splashing my face with water. BUT, I also enjoy moisturizing toners after washing. Does applying product immediately after a toner have the same effect?
