Non hunters don’t like hunting. It makes no difference to them if it is in season and legal. It’s called the Bambi Syndrome. Another sign of the times.
@TombstoneHeart4 жыл бұрын
The "Bambi Syndrome." I like that! This reminds me of a story a workmate told me and it pretty much fits in with the Bambi Syndrome. He has a friend who owns a large acreage property in the south-west of Western Australia and he lives there alone in a pretty much off-the-grid lifestyle and mostly lives off what he can catch, trap or shoot on his property. My workmate and his girlfriend travelled down south to spend a week with him and the first night they were there, his mate served up a dinner of locally caught marron, a species of freshwater crayfish. The girlfriend couldn't eat enough of it and raved on about how delicious it all was. The next night he did a roast leg of a wallaby he had shot - and she flatly refused to eat one mouthful of it! She told both of them that were both cruel and heartless and it was just so disgusting that they would want to eat such a cute little animal. Basically, she totally fucked up what should have been a very relaxing and restful week off work in some pretty special surroundings. The lessons I took from my mate's ruined week off work was, 1 ) Never take a woman with you if you're going to be shooting your own dinner and, 2 ) If you can't avoid having her with you, never tell her what she is eating! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marron

Ya, Paula is just an average anti-hunter. From my experience, no amount of facts from a hunter can persuade an anti that they are in the wrong. Usually takes a badge to get through to them. I had some anti's leaving threats on my truck. They actually waited for me at my truck one day and read me the riot act. Then one made the mistake of calling Fish and Game to report me. I patiently waited for the warden and when he got there they immediately told him how I was a poacher killing their animals. He calmly checked my license and tags, and told them I was legally entitled to hunt there. They said that they fed the deer, and would follow me with air horns if I ever came back. At that the warden became THE WARDEN! He told them that those deer belonged to the State, and asked each of them for their ID. He pulled out his citation book and let them know he was writing them up for feeding the wildlife. They stood there with their mouths open. He further informed them that if he got a call from any hunters about being harassed things would be taken to the next level. At that point he sent me on my way as my smirk and giggles weren't helping matters. The lesson I learned: Know the law pertaining to your particular area and don't cross any lines and don't argue with the antis, let the law handle them.

She said they looked like drug dealers b/c they were all wearing the same colors... they were wearing the bright neon yellow reflector vests and actively paving. I'll admit she had some mental issues. However she called it in in a way that caused half of the city's police force to show up with rifles. I also had another one call immigration on the spanish family that lived in the apartment behind her b/c they were parking too many cars in the parking lot. She didn't have a car, but claimed these illegals r making it impossible for people to use the lot. Before any of this happened I had already informed her that they're from Puerto Rico...

Ok man, i'm going to fix this for you this time. On your next hunting trip bring some cucumbers and a couple of apples. Set them on top of a rock. No you are a veggi hunter, animal savior, that no snowflake justice warrior can mess with. After every body leaves get your pig put the apple in its mouth leave the cucumber for the lady, she needs it!

Paula’s lying, her real name is Karen. And why are you apologizing to her?

Paula doesn't have any ground to stand on, literally. She's renting private property in an unincorporated area...

What she likes or dislikes is irrelevant. Facts dont care about feelings.

Damn this looks just like the country I grew up in by Paicines CA, those hogs in the dry grass surrounded by those oak trees really just took me back.

Great job contacting the land owner it’s to bad you have to buy pig tags my guess it’s California. It’s one reason I up and moved from my home state of California to a southern state that people pay use to eradicate the hogs because they are such a problem

way to go bro you did the right thing by not being ignorant to her and knowing the laws and not letting her push you around and try to stop you from your legal rights

i can understand from paula's point of view - if i owned a dog or any other type of animal that would be startled by gunshots. maybe there should be some type of visible markings that shows the 150 yrd. perimeter

If you check with the laws of your state some laws will find her for harassing hunters and they will give her a hefty fine fine don't know what state you're in where I am they do it and I we love it it stops people like her
