The reason I like the voice is because it is not a show for amateurs and beginners, that's x-factor and American Idol. A lot of singers on the voice had previous vocal training or/and contract, but didn't make it big yet. So it's all about the voice. Sure, they do have amateurs and beginners, but since they have to compete with pros, they have to have some real talents. Just my opinion =).
