I have had my sweet 16 for a few months and my biggest issue is keeping the tension uniform. Getting it set seems to be a chore. I am very happy you are making videos on the sweet 16. You are doing a great job and I am learning a lot. thanks

Hi There :) Thanks so much for your lovely comments! I did a video all about Tension, you can find it on my KZbin channel or my website under 'tutorials', www.paulastormdesigns.com. I have personally found that I don't often have to touch my tension anymore (it did take a bit of work at the start though!). I found that the bobbin tension is what controls the whole machine and as long as the bobbin is set correctly you should only need to make small adjustments to your top tension when changing thread weights (as in going from a light 60 weight to a regular 40 weight). I hope you have fun with your machine!! Hugs Paula

I have had about a year and my weird tension issues relate to soft bobbins and or not pulling some thread at start from bobbin to keep clockwise perfect on bobbin as you load it. No issues since worked those out. Hope that helps you.

I love your videos, I have been trying to learn how to quilt my runners and baby quilts. I would like to ask if you could show how to complete a row. When you were doing the swirls and hearts, there was that one part between the petals, what would you do there? And I am guessing that you would continue that row all the way to the top? That is where I get stuck a lot. In between circles or petals or what nots.

I have had my ss16 for a short time. You mentioned you set your machine on half stitch to baste around. How to I put that on my screen.
