Hello Paul. Words cannot describe how grateful I am that you undertook the monumental feat of playing both Books I and II of Bach's WTC (beautifully so, with an artistry rarely seen) for us to enjoy. I truly believe people such as yourself make this world a much better place for us to live in, and I will stand by that until the day I die. Again thank you for sharing this incredible music with us and making our lives more colourful. I only wish the best for you and your family. Have a wonderful day!

Very well said. And it sounds like you know the history of Paul. He's an award winning painter trained at the Royal Academy of Arts, and he plays the piano wicked well. But he didn't want the life of a concert pianist, so he paints, teaches piano and gives us these popular concerts. And yes, we can admire his artistry and let him paint our world with sonic colours.

Thank you for this Paul. You make the world better with your superb recordings.
Precise playing. Very well done. 10/10. I personally think this is better than Glenn Gould's execution. Much more honest approach.

I'm by no means a professional but have picked through most of these and understand the difficulty. Your full understanding of Bach's music is very apparent. Your rhythm is perfection! I've always felt that one can only be a good musician if you have rhythm - and it really can't be taught. Some of those pieces...wow. The complexity would always amaze and even exhaust me. It is an amazing accomplishment what you've done and you are a fantastic player.

You can really see the inspiration Chopin had from Bach. I feel a lot of similarities between the C# minor prelude from WTC Book 2 and one of Chopin's etudes in the same key, Op 25 no 7. Listen to both back to back! Captivating performance, Paul.

just found your recording of this! great playing and an incredible memory feat i must say! i always struggle so hard to memorise bach.. my feeling is because its hard to label and follow harmonically and easy to get lost in! but its great music, wtc2 in particular is fully of absolute gems

Such complex yet beautiful music. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as a book overall this looks way more daunting than most of the preludes and fugues of book 1

Hey Nick! I know sometimes we hear a recording and they don’t include the number or the key vice versa… in which case it could be hard to find other interpretations if everyone is not using the same naming convention.. however, you could also rely on the fact that both books of WTC go in a chromatically increasing major/minor alternating preludes and fugues.. so starting with C major prelude and fugue 1, then c minor etc etc.. i hope this will help you out even if Paul doesn’t add all the info
