Real, human education. I was a teacher for 41 years and slowly became disillusioned with our way of imparting enthusiasm and knowledge to the next generation. You have showed us a beautiful version of how it can be done. Thank you.

Not just an excellent musician, as in playing all the right notes, but with such expressiveness, emotion, dynamics, nuances, feeling and interpreting the music so well. FASCINATING. Thank you for compiling this. I found especially interesting the second phase (after babyhood) when Emilie created shapes in the air with her hands - as if the music formed images that she saw and felt. I remember an earlier video in which Emilie would go to the piano on her own volition (I think when she first woke up), strike a key on the piano, and then create a shape in the air. Your entire family is so kind and so gloriously talented. Thank you for this channel. It is a haven amid a brutal world.

The relationship between father & daughter, if one is lucky enough to have a good Dad, is a very special, very loving one. My Dad used to say I was like a wart on his bum, every time he turned around, there I was! Mind you, Dad was a great DIY man & a terrific singer, so I learned so much! Dad used to say I’d outdone him when, during a terrible storm, we lost some slates off out roof, none of my brothers could handle it, Dad either, so I did it, with a few telephone tips from Dad’s pal. Boy, was I lucky! Mum was a great teacher in the house too. Both worked at least two jobs too. I think the reason my marriages (2) failed it was because other men couldn’t even climb on to the pedestal i’d put my Daddy on.

This video shows only tiny snippets of the lives of these two. But it is very touching for me to witness the development, especially of the child. This little time travel is a convincing proof of what loving, caring and strengthening support of a child can do. Both give so much to each other, which nothing material could ever compensate for. Such affirming experiences are formative, for a lifetime. And now let us imagine this on a global scale. Appreciation would be the currency, not egoism. What could grow out of it .
