In June 2019 Paul Brady and Theo Katzman did a bunch of Irish gigs with bassist Joe Dart, keyboard Lee Pardini and drummer Louis Cato. This is yet another song from the Dublin gig, a song that's been part of Paul's repertoire since he first recorded it in 1978. Traditional, arranged Paul Brady/ Round Hill Music.

Wow, all the division in our malevolent, visionless political leaders and something as elegant and seemingly simple as a song like this can still bring people together so easily. Perhaps there is hope for us still.

I love PBrady version. My mother took me to my first concert - I sat on her knee at a Christy moore concert aged 8, 26+ years later and I still reach out for these tracks! Wholesome and fine. 2021

Mr Brady,I have a large portrait painting of you in my hall.I think you have seen it.My granddaughter said "who's dat",she's only 2.I said "that's Mr Brady,he's a singer,he writes songs.Some dayI shall bring you to hear him sing" My grandaughter replied," do you love him Nana?"💟

This was such an amazing gig - I can only hope for more. Attending this and sharing this moment with my folks is something i'll never forget. What an unbelievable collaboration and blending of two generations of music. Thank you guys!
