Just so you know, UVB bulbs will stop producing UVB after generally 6 months to a year, so make sure to replace them if they don’t burn completely out before then ☀️

@@bhomie4248 Lol you must be mistaken because I've commented advice maybe on like 2 videos? And never anything negative. I have a ton of respect for Paul as a content creator, but he isn't an animal expert. That's not meant to be an insult either. Even the most knowledgeable people don't know everything, myself included. I, however, make a conscious effort to not get offended or defensive when I am offered well-meaning advice. It's always very bizarre to me when a youtuber's "fans" get angry on their behalf.

@@paulcuffaro the Cohabing isn’t a problem besides maybe the soft shell and snapping turtle. But 5 turtles in like a 10 gallon enclosure? WAYYYY too small they at a minimum need 50 gallons (10 gallons per inch of shell rule) please upgrade them incredibly soon before they start becoming territorial and nipping each other

Every time I see the farm & duck pond, I wish that you had more native plants!! My sustainability degree sees the pond with no grass to filter or clean the fish & bird poop & hurts. You could really educate your young audience about the benefits of native plants & minimizing your impact on the land & water! :)

Make sure the rocks are properly stacked. Many times they can get inside and not get out. The way you just randomly kept them scares me. Make sure the crevices are locked

The patio pond is about 20 gallons I would say for 5 tiny baby turtles which is fine for now but as they get bigger they need more space, but Paul already said that he is going to upgrade their enclosure as they grow. Also, he isn't going to add a load of fish into the pond so its perfectly fine for now.

@@avaliu5083 you may have not known the demographics of Paul's viewers but its a whole lot of kids who will try to emulate what Paul is doing in his channel (probably pest their parents to buy). Not everyone of those viewers would have the space or money to upgrade their tanks/bowls in the future which could lead to them releasing their pets and destroy ecosystems. He should teach to buy tanks to the adult size of the fish/reptile their getting for it to thrive and grow to its maximum potential.

@@avaliu5083 20 gallons? Really? Its an aquagarden mini pond kit. It holds 5 - 7 gallons of water in the bottom part. He's got it filled a little more than just the bottom part, so around 9 gallons at the most.

High flow rate, super bright light directly shining on them (which can actually lead to blindness in turtles since their eyes are pretty sensitive) too small of an enclosure. He also has no heating for those little things, I feel bad for em tbh

Well putting 5 turtles in like a 10-20 gal tank (hard to tell) is not good care, general rule of thumb 10 gal per inch of turtle, let say each turtle is 1 inch that means he needs a 50 gal, my point is proven
