My wife and I saw her when she was with the band Highway 101 live back in like 1987 at the Holiday Star Plaza in Merrillville Indiana. I remember Paulette doing all that twirling on stage, flipping her hair, what a great show she put on. The crowd would go nuts when she did that. They were the first act followed by Tracy Lawrence and then Doug Stone who was the top billing that night. They were all great. I remember that trip we took back then like it was yesterday. We stayed overnight at the hotel there at the Plaza. We thought it was a big deal, a big trip for us, and it was. What a great era for country music.

My husband and I were all set to go to see Highway 101 in concert over on the Peninsula here in Washington state and my husband took off a full day from work and when we got there, there was nobody around, the concert was called off because Cactus (the drummer) had been in a motorcycle accident, we didn't know this at the time though, we found out later. But, I have always wanted to see Highway 101 (with Paulette) in concert.

I was fortunate to have seen Paulette & Hiway 101 about 1990 something .I can't recall precisely. As a group of us were exiting our office on Dixie Rd. in Mississauga , Ontario - I happened to notice Hiway 101 were billed for that very night at a huge Night Club just across the street. I had the opportunity to introduce their music to co workers normally oblivious to Country sounds,. One of us other than me - was familiar with them - Billy Mason in particular..
