This reminds me of my college days when things were easier and I had big dreams. Too bad Naomi suffered. She had fame and fortune, beautiful family and to the average person she had everything. Mental health needs to be recognized as a disease just like cancer. RIP, beautiful lady.
@donmunro1442 жыл бұрын
mental health is a disease like you said. To us she seemed to have it all. But most people don't see the pressure if being a celebrity. She said that people saw her as the person she was on stage not as she really was. Sometimes the worst prison is in ones own mind.
@neiloflongbeck57052 жыл бұрын
Sorry but that would mean good mental health like most of us have most of the time is bad. If you mean mental health problems should be taken as seriously as physical health problems then I couldn't agree more.
@donmunro1442 жыл бұрын
@@neiloflongbeck5705 What I meant is that people don't know what another is feeling inside. Everything looks good on the surface, but who knows what is going on inside. I just lost my sister in law to suicide. And nobody had a clue anything was wrong. Mental health is something that most take for granted but needs to be taken seriously.
@neiloflongbeck57052 жыл бұрын
@@donmunro144 so sory to hear of your loss, but please don't lump all mental health as a disease. Poor mental health is the issue we all have to deal with (ours, our family's and our friends). We need to get good mental health as the norm we all strive for and to have easy access to people who can help us to get to it.

interestingly, Wynonna Judd was actually the mother and Naomi was the daughter. Most people get it confused, and it is one of the "mandela effect" quirks

Actually I read that anyone on Psychiatric Drugs as she was on, its likely it happens...it happened to actor Robin Williams who hung himself. Its not the person its the Psychiatric Drugs to blame. Plenty of people are depressed but dont commit suicide, but once they get caught onto those heavyduty drugs lookout! Dell Shannon the singer was also on Prosac as I was for depression but died because of the drug. I trashed mine when I saw what it was doing to me real fast!!!
@geerterri Жыл бұрын
@@luciaterrizzi1881 Actually, you are quite wrong and uneducated about this. Some people that are bi-polar, or have been diagnosed with severe depression, need these meds badly. After you READ about what the cause of Del Shannon's death was, did you get back to your Doctor and request a different med. In fact, did the med that you were on cause any of the negative symptoms. If you didn't, you are, IMO, a fool. About Prozac, many, many people cannot take the med. But then, it was intended ONLY when other meds don't help. If you go into a Doctor's office and the first thing that he wants to do is prescribe Prozac, leave the office and find another Doctor. Go to a psychologist, not a Family Doctor or Internal Medicine. They are not trained in anti-psych meds. Myself, I would never take Prozac. For three extremely good reasons. 1) My meds are working very well. 2) My Mom, while taking Prozac, had major hallucinations. 3) My older son, while taking Prozac, also had major hallucinations. That means that genetics precludes the use of Prozac.

Yes God is love but also consider Jesus' mother - Mother Mary loves us as much and if you listen to the lyrics of Beyonce's song Ave Maria you will catch my drift- My answer to the heartache of this song is Why not me to love your cares away , or Why not me when your growing old Sometimes the consolation you will not get here but spiritually. Beyonce's song says it way better than me. Yes I am Catholic but what we do share with other Christians is the love of the Nativity scene so think of what I said next time at Christmas which is coming up fast
