In the book Deadly Force by Massad Ayoob there is a photo of Ayoob setting a record for most handguns concealed in which he successfully concealed over 50 pistols. Granted, in that photo the jacket he is wearing looks almost comically large on his frame, but still that made me realize most people underestimate how much gun one can actually conceal on their person.

I’m from the UK and have been a long time subscriber. I recently visited the US (Florida) and visited a gun range and got talking to some of the guys there. After about half an hour of chitchatting back and fourth one of them that worked at the store remarked “You’ve got a funny accent to know all this!” - I took that as a compliment and my knowledge is thanks to Paul!

I know of some folks that became large and got overwhelmed by the few, albeit loud, critics. I wouldn't let that bother you.

I've never commented on any of your videos or any youtube video for that matter. I'm 54 years old and grew up around guns, especially shotguns (trap shooting and bird hunting). I consider myself generally knowledgeable about firearms. That being said, I learn something from EVERY video of yours. It surprises me how many in the "gun culture" have such extreme opinions on what is better than what and "you are a fool if you have or don't have this choice of firearms or ammo etc. etc." Congrats on 500k subscribers. Keep the great information coming.

@@pr0nstarz Don't know what the brand name is but my local dollar store sells 3 liters for 1 dollar. You can do plenty of things with a 2 liter bottle but sometimes when you're trying to make a model airplane canopy you need that extra liter of plastic. Luckily, the strawberry and the pineapple aren't too shabby. Seriously, I finished the last one off about, emmmm, 4 years ago.

If his point was to annoy Paul then well done. If he did it to gain money/subscribers then whoops. If he did it to show himself the more knowledgeable person about revolvers then it's simple: Even if he was the best revolver shooter in the galaxy his behavior and misleading edits have made it so I and others could care less about his opinion which is a shame as he is a talented shooter from what I could look up. Hopefully some day he can grow up and learn from his mistake.

I just have to say Paul, I ran into your channel a few months ago. I found you to be an interesting and quirky individual (no disrespect in anyway meant by the way), and you’ve become one of my absolute favorite firearm you tubers, second to none. You’re patient, thought out, extremely well spoken, and educational presentations are such a refreshing thing to enjoy with how machismo and outlandish a lot of the online firearm community and KZbin has become. I dont understand how you only have 500k subs. While I enjoy some of the less "scientific" gun channels (Demo Ranch), when I want a trusted opinion on a gun I am considering, this is where I look. Your videos are information dense, your opinions are backed up with real world experience, and you are funny and charismatic. I hope your channel keeps growing, and you get the recognition you deserve Paul. Congrats on the 500k subscribers. Mr. Harrell, I was a little surprised to hear that you were not prior law enforcement. I have been watching your channel for about 2 years. You have a smooth calm style that reminds me of Old School Police officers back in the say 70's. Back when law enforcement and the public had a very different relationship. Cheers for being a reminder to a better gentler time. I did not say it but I do appreciate the sentiment. Another KZbin Channel host once refereed to you, in a positive manner, as the Mister Rogers of the Gun Channels. I hope you and others will see this in the same light I did. Because people want spectacle, not information. In this case, Paul Harrell provides a metric craptonne of information, but his content is not heavily politicized or full of explosions and dumb challenges. He is like the polar opposite of more popular gun youtubers like Demolition Ranch and I love his content for this.

@@Natethegreat1358 Its quality content for the discerning customer, the flashy channels cater primarily to the average public who want some basic info and whizz bang every few seconds. As Homeopathic Fossil-Fuels mentioned, compare Demolition Ranch with say Forgotten Weapons, the latter is by far obviously the superior product but for the average joe(which is a much larger demographic) it is much too technical and in-depth for their liking, and hence Demo Ranch has millions more subscribers compared to Forgotten Weapons. The caveat here is that both have their place and cater to individual preferences, but personally for me the flashy channels are like Shasta Soda, too much fizz, makes me bloated and ultimately unhealthy to ones well being.
