I’m working nights this weekend so my SOTD will be Merkur 34c Treet Platinum blade Crabtree and Evelyn West Indian Limes shave cream and Aftershave followed by Nivea fresh balm, MOTD will be pork chops with Carrots and broccoli new potatoes and lashentoes of gravy, glad you’re still enjoying the Wilkinson Sticky enjoy the rest of your day my friends all the best

My SOTD, shower and hot water, NOM badger shaving brush, Gillette Slim Twist mintgreen with Polisilver Iridium, Colgate and CO. Shaving Stick, Aftershave STR8-Faith (Fruity Top with oriental fougere base). And finish with Nivea Creme. And yes, today I'm going to work in the afternoon, not that I enjoy it, but that's how this project is.

Nice shave Paul💈🪒 Fantastic flower arrangement this morning, Mrs H certainly has an eye for color, thanks. Wilkinson Sword was a premier British brand, wish it was still made in the UK. I have the blue sticks and yes they are very good. SOTD: PAA Cube, PAA "Solstice" soap/splash/EDP, RazoRock "Hive" synth brush, PAA SS "Ascension" razor w/Personna Red blade, alum, witch hazel and AV 5in1 balm...Glorious. Having a ribeye steak, baked(grilled)potato, asparagus and corn on the cob all done on the cast iron grill today, of course ice cold brew to chase. Good morning Paul. I really enjoyed your shave today. My SOTD razor Edward Jagger DE 89 with a Nacet blade. PA Sangre De Drago shaving soap. DS Cosmetics 24 mm badger knot with a blue handle. Proraso Red aftershave splash and Proraso Yellow aftershave balm. This one was a mish mash of products but I really enjoyed it. Amazing scents all put together. For my meal my wife and I will be going out to a local steak restaurant. So I'll be having steak today too. Please let Mrs H know that her arrangement is perfect. Take care.

Good Sunday morning to you and Mrs H. Lovely flowers this morning. Very springy. Great classic shave you had. That soap along with williams and and colgate, in my area were the ones you could buy in any store. So williams esp was my 1st mug soap as you call it. Not a great soap that, but it still made me sad seeing the company is no longer making it at all. My sotd today is using my Parker 96r with a derby blade. Using cella soap and prorasso red aftershave and matching balm. I hope you both have a great day

Great shave Paul, Wilkinson sword shave soap blue or black is a good soap now if your on your travels and you forget your shaving soap going to a supermarket and getting a tub would see you through your vacation by the third pass good slickness ready for the pick-ups I have the Wilkinson sword classic aftershave it is beyond me why some wet shavers give it a bad rap i does it's job and does it well the old Wilkinson sword shave soap, i must look that silver spirit up it would go nice in my collection, Meal for today Carolina Beef stakes with fried onions and a few chips and some ghost pepper sauce to add some kick take care and have a great week another beautiful display from Mrs. H 😀👍

Good mlorning. Beautiful flowers Mrs. H. Very nice shave Paul. I didn't know about the Wilkinson Silver Surfer aftershave. I only know the following: Wilkinson aftershaves: Classic - smells like a mixture of Russian Leather aftershave and earl grey tea. It's a ladykiller, women seem to love that smell Sport - It smells like Hâttric, but sweeter Ocean - It smells like a watered down version of Gammon Blue Water (my aftershave in the early 90's when I still was a teenager) There was also a Musk version, but that is out of production and people pay insane prices for it on eBay My SOTD: Proraso green shaving creme, Omega S-Brush, YUMA razor, Derby Usta blade, Thayers lavender witch hazel, Weleda aftershave and X-Base Gentleman aftershave balm. My MOTD: Potato and mushroom filled Vareniki

My blue bowl Wilkinson Sword puck also shrunk even though I live in a quite humid area near the coast. I flooded the bowl for an hour or so and came back to normal size.

Great video as usual Paul. WHts your thoughts on the sticky ? you didn't mention it much. For me the biggest designer razor of its day. THE History surrounding it is second to none and quite possibly my favourite vintage razor. Everyone wants a Fatboy or a Slim for their collections but this razor shaves better than them all and a fraction of the cost although they are getting harder and harder to come by. An innovative razor in its day with a history to boot

We see the loading the brush from the soap puck but, is this Wilkinson Sword soap soft enough to be able to be either scraped or scooped to make a bowl lather?

You could scrape some off, and press it into a bowl, but it's a hard puck, so I find it easier to use it's own bowl.
