Pauli Marttinen: Introducción y flamenco (Artturi Winstén, Lahti Symphonic Band)

A little something my clarinetist friend asked me to write for him in Spanish style.
This is the premiere performance of this work on May Day Concert on 2013-04-30. The soloist is Artturi Winstén accompanied by the Lahti Symphonic Band conducted by Juha Salmela.
I think the Spanishness in this one is quite strong. We had three clarinetist exchange students from Spain in our band, and they quite liked the piece, and took the score and parts to their homeland. They said I'll be hearing from them, so I'm kinda excited about my composition spreading abroad.
I was tempted at 4:44 to quote Mendelssohn's third symphony. Also I wrote the best timpani part I've written so far.
