Well fingerprints are only relevant in two situations. A: your fingerprints are already on the database from a past crime you committed (would be true for paulie) B: you're already a suspect for other reasons and they check your fingerprints for confirmation. However the series shows that Jersey family has bought a lot of cops so its theoretically possible that they somehow fudged the records up so paulie's real fingerprints are not in the database, meaning point A is irrelevant.

Realistic and deep scene...This demonstrates the real capabilities of Paulie. He could easily hustle and muscle his way in and out of things, this was all he was to Tony at the end of the day, but his character lacked logic and brains. The man had no strategy. He was lucky enough to have the ranking he placed in the Jersey family, which he only received due to the perception of his loyalty, which he didn't even have, as we saw throughout the series.

Only The Sopranos can make it funny to have a scene of an old lady smothered with a pillow.

That pillow was a great character. I wish they'd have given it more screentime

They used it for the Vito-fireman storyline. Lots of bite marks in it.

Good thing you bought it off Ebay and now you and your partner use it for pillow bite time.

Na, Chase has the uncanny ability to start out a scene with a little humor and then rapidly shift gears into absolute shock and horror. He did the exact same thing when Paulie and Chris clipped Mickey Palmice in season 1.

For Paulie's standards, he did just about everything he possibly could before suffocating her. He's killed way sooner and over less than that.

Honestly he would have killed her either way I think. Even if she didn't make a big deal of it right there and she pretended to buy his excuse. I think you would have still killed her, probably the next night or a couple nights later by poisoning her or something so she wouldn't be a witness or tell his mom. I don't think he would have done it in such a reckless way where there could be fiber evidence and DNA evidence and so on but there is no way he was going to let this woman live once she caught him. And he was going to want that money.

A couple of summers ago, I was hanging with my Uncle Richie from Jersey, and, naturally, we start talking about The Sopranos. He tells me that his aunt on his mother's side played Minn. We immediately start talking about Tony Sirico and this scene. Uncle Richie said that his aunt really enjoyed working with him, but these kinds of scene are risky to shoot even if young adults act this stuff out. She had got few bruises by the end of the day because it's was hard for both of them to go that far to make this look so real. Tony did his best to be gentle, but, ya know, look who I'm talking about here. heh heh. I think she had a stunt double for the wide shot where she falls but, still, it's really impressive work and devastating to watch for the first time,; and kinda hilarious.

I heard the actress in real life fell on hard times; not to long ago her apartment building was without hot water and heat. It got so bad she couldn't even get out under the covers to answer the door for the Meals on Wheels on people. Any updates on this?
