@China Dave John's stroke has nothing to do with his mental illness and mental state. John probably has a mixture of mental illnesses which he must have had before he ever came to the Philippines, his also trying to be deceptive and will try to manipulate Paul to enable him even more to continue his Obsessive-compulsive disorder, personality disorder or Bipolar disorder, he may even have Schizophrenia but I can guarantee that this man probably has a long mental health record in the USA going back years. He may well be getting abused by his wife and his inlaws but he is enabling them to abuse him because he actually likes it(it sounds odd but that is mental illness)and the more Paul tries to keep him away from his abusers the more he will run right back to them. I can tell from Pauls's body language that he is not really comfortable with John and doesn't really trust him at all. I have many years experience of working with people from mental health backgrounds and social abuse history, trust me this will not work unless John has professional mental health help, he needs to be back in the USA and even if he has no money and nowhere to live he will be helped.(his making non-stop excuses to avoid treatment and manipulate people into enabling his OCD)

These videos are helping Paul make money as these human interest stories attract a lot of views and the more views increases your KZbin income.But a lot of these expats who retire to countries like the Philippines and Thailand were nearly broke or not very well off before going there The attraction is that their meeker savings go a lot further there plus there is the opportunity to have a pretty young wife half your age - but the catch is you have to look after her family as well.Her family will always come before you. I have NO idea how this channel came up on my feed. I watched the last almost hour long video with Paul and John and got invested so it led me to this 2nd video. All I can say is John has met his saving grace. Paul you are an amazing person wow. Wow. Wow. I pray that John can keep his trajectory in the right direction.

Would love to hear the perspective of what Johns gf has to say. Maybe Baby Mae could interview her on her channel,,,,it certainly would create a ton of interest. Im not picking sides here but its always good to hear the other side of the story. She may be intimidated to be interviewed by Paul but Im sure she'd be comfortable talking to Mae.

I've been fortunate enough to never be down and out like John was, but it can happen to any of us at any time. Get a couple of bad breaks - fired from your job, illness, family troubles - and before you know it you're in the same position. It's good to see the expat community got together to help John out. Perhaps one day he'll be able to return the favour in kind.

Well done. My main concern is the growth on his neck. I suspect it is a Lumph node with a bacterial or viral infection. Fingers crossed for him. And well done to you Paul and the other expats there in Dumaguete. I was there in Dumaguete 12 years ago and i always wanted to return. Maybe some day. I stayed at that hotel as well.

May I suggest an escort or bodyguard for John whenever or if ever he returns to visit the compound for his kids; I would hate to see him targeted or bullied around from any unscrupulous bad actors that may confront him. These updates may be well and good but there are people that will try to bring him down. Praying for continued strength for John and the well-being of his kids! Thank you to Paul and all your supporters!

He probably shouldn't go alone for a while. My hope is they realize and appreciate the home he built for them. Perhaps that will (or at least should) temper any ill will. His daughters will benefit greatly from that home as well.

@@gmcinnis6304 he has two children, so there is going to be some interraction. Being a deadbeat dad would be a garbage human move, so there is going to be a bit of a balancing act like it or not.
@cheapskateninja26552 жыл бұрын
@@gmcinnis6304 You seem to be confused that he(John)is the victim here? no, the victims are the poor twin girls that he decided to bring into the world as a 58-60-year-old man because he couldn't be bothered to wear a condom. Let's be honest dude unless he arrived in the Philippines on the short mentally challenged bus with his care worker and the 19-year-old girl raped John, he knows exactly what he was doing having unprotected sex with her, she's a 19-year-old girl from a province and very poor!. Now he has the cheek to worry about going to the dentist to get his teeth cleaned? maybe he should be getting his teeth knocked out!

Watched the previous blog with this guy. You're an angel helping him to get back to himself. That's being human . Still there are some good Samaritans along the way. And that's you sir. I know in life we find some people along the way whom we don't expect . But keep fighting and moving, you are in the right track with your good friend.

Something he should look at for next year is what I do. Every May-September A company called Digi-Key in Thief River Falls, Minnesota pays people $18-20/ HR PLUS A FREE HOTEL ROOM! I'm at the Grand Stay Hotel which has a kitchenette, Living room and separate bedroom. All you have to do is pull orders, and they do 2 weeks of training. Yesterday was my first day. I will do it every year. He can come back and forth which I plan to do. With overtime you can easily make $900/week. That won't affect his social security money either.

Paul and John, I am so happy to see that John has been rescued and that Paul has organized a way back for him through his contacts. It is good to know that people are willing to lend a hand to someone in need. I hope John's twins will not forget their father and I am happy also to see that John wants to provide for them. As for John's gf/wife and her family, the best revenge for John is to live well and to release any anger. Good luck to John!
