Obviously the history of our armed forces and their many victories and not so many defeats are recorded for posterity, but with the cutbacks to our military over many decades there are few remaining who actually remember the halcyon days when we could field regiments, squadrons and fleets that were regarded around the world as some of the best fighting men ever, nowadays that regard is still there, but mostly built on reputation than a military able to field a large fighting force. 😡☹️🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
