Another bright start joined the heavens...
Paulo "Speedy" Gonçalves, an amazing man whos passion and perservience never ceased to amaze us!
He got to be 2nd in the Dakar Rally, the toughest rally in the world, his dream.
Thank you and keep ridding across the stars on to the final frontier.
My prayers to his family.

Kevin Benavides wrote on tweeter after wining the stage: “I have no words to explain the sadness I feel. Today, when I got to the point of the crash, I stopped and stood next to Toby. The doctors were already providing assistance and asked me to leave. I never realized that the pilot on the ground about 10 meters from me was you. I thought it was your teammate. I got to the refueling point and other pilots told me it was you. I fell to the ground and was still 70 kilometers to go. I cried every kilometer until the end of the stage. ” “I dedicate you to victory with great pain. You taught me to smile at life. I have always admired you as a pilot. I am grateful that life has put you in my way and been able to share so many amazing and unforgettable moments. ”

Heartbreaking and really sad moment, Huge lost for us all and for Dakar sprit, he will not be forgotten. RIP.

On 2016 One of the greatest of all time. He was first on the general and he see other competitor tumbed on the road and he have no doubt about of give assitance. A truly legend on the field, RESPECT!

Es una gran pena perder a un hombre que va suguiendo un sueño, como es el Dakar, sin dudas estará con otros grandes pilotos que partieron antes. Grande Paulo!!!!!
