Corgi restoration Oldsmobile Sheriff Car No. 237. Toy model cast.

The Oldsmobile "Sheriff Car" model was produced by Meetoy in the years 1962-1965. It was one of the first emergency vehicles and sold very well. My model had a damaged beacon on the roof. To turn the subtitles on or off in the movie, please press C on the computer or the three dots on the mobile phone in the movie. This was a manufacturing defect, as these red beacons were attached to the glass and were very often damaged. I replaced the glass with a new one without a beacon, and the beacon was made of epoxy resin as a separate part. I also made new tires because this model did not have them at all. I made the painting and the sticker so characteristic of this Oldsmobile. My sticker is 2 mm smaller because the original one was a bit too big in my opinion. I also made a box in which this model was packed. Thank you for watching the movie, I publish videos with the repair of cars on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Man I got that for my 3rd birthday. Seeing this now I got to dig it out of storage and admire it once again. I have most of my matchbox and corgi also hot wheels from my childhood. My parents bought many doubles when I got them as gifts. When my father passed away in 1984 my mom showed them to me and I kept them since.👍👍👍👍👍

@@diecastflashback I watched an old movie from the production line at the Corgi factory, and that's where the models were pressed before some fragment was painted. Ladies who did this would have to do it very quickly.

I love model police cars! I have A Japanese one two German ones and 1.18 American one I need the British Jaguar XJ6 model...I love Dodge one that the Blues Brothers drove! Von dem eigentlichen Sheriff Car, war ja nicht mehr viel zu sehen. Nach Deiner Restaurierung erstrahlt das alte Modell nun in neuem Glanz. Ein Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht. Ein schönes Sammlerstück nun. Exzellent! Gruß, Joachim Niewiele było do zobaczenia z samochodu szeryfa. Po renowacji stary model lśni teraz nowym blaskiem. Różnica jak dzień i noc.
