Corgi renovation Mini Marcos GT 850 No. 341. Toy model cast.

The Mini Marcos 850 GT was produced by Corgi from 1968 to 1970. It was the first model to have removable "Golden Jack" wheels. That's why I decided to renew it next. To display the subtitles in your language in the movie, please press C on the computer or the three dots on the mobile phone in the movie. In my copy, four tires and two rims have not survived. I had to cast them from a tin-copper alloy. It was quite complicated due to the shape of the rims. The windshield was damaged. She was probably in contact with tires from another model, which started to dissolve her. I painted the body with silver acrylic paint. I got the right color by painting silver with a transparent varnish with the addition of red dye. I used Lesney Alwis Steward tires. I also made a box with a glass. Great job, I had one of these in the 60’s . I remember that the tyres had a more square profile and had the word “ Corgi” embossed on the sidewall. Lovely little model.

Paul, robisz niesamowite renowacje i filmy. Lubię je oglądać, ponieważ mnie uspokajają i wyciszają. Chcę Ci napisać, że w dzieciństwie, które przypadło na połowę lat 80-tych, próbowałem robić dokładnie to co Ty. Nie miałem oczywiście specjalistycznych narzędzi, umiejętności i technicznego zaplecza. A jednak do dziś przechowuję jedną z moich ówczesnych prób renowacji. Jest to policyjne PORSCHE CARRERA od CORGI JUNIORS (made in GT BRITAIN). Oryginalny biały lakier zmieniłem na zielony (!), nałożony pędzelkiem. Zmatowiałą i porysowaną szybkę w niebieskim kolorze wyrzuciłem, przez co na dachu też straszą dwa otwory po światłach policyjnych. Natomiast podwozie do nadwozia, w dwóch miejscach gdzie rozgiąłem fabryczne mocowania, próbowałem przymocować przy pomocy rozgrzanego plastiku (później też cyny). Z dawnych czasów zostało mi kilka ciekawych modeli : PLANET SCOUT od MATCHBOX made in ENGLAND 1975, AMX PRO-STOCKER made in MACAU 1983, HOT WHEELS niestety bez marki (wygląda jak FORD BRONCO) made in HONG KONG 1980, FORD ESCORT XR3i CABRIOLET od MATCHBOX made in MACAU 1985, HOT WHEELS - DODGE OMNI made in HONG KONG 1980. Ten ostatni pociągnięty czerwoną farbą, z szybami włącznie ;-) ale to nie moja robota, tylko poprzedniego właściciela. Dziękuję Ci za filmy, które publikujesz i pozdrawiam. P. S. : Z niecierpliwością czekam na odcinek, którego bohaterem będzie CHEVY 57 od MATCHBOX. Taki z ogromnym silnikiem, maską odchylaną do przodu razem z błotnikami, wydechami biegnącymi wzdłuż progów i namalowanymi płomieniami. To chyba mój ulubiony resorak.

Ein schwer bespieltes Modell. Die Räder hatten sich wohl eher dauerhaft vom Fahrzeug entfernt. Eine tolle Restauration mit einem Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht. Sehr gute Arbeit bei diesem vollständigen Wiederaufbau des Mini Marcos. Gruß, Joachim Model intensywnie używany. Koła zostały prawdopodobnie na stałe usunięte z pojazdu.
