So glad someone is talking about the mental side of post competition.....so much more important than anything else. Mind over matter as they say 💪🏼👍🏻

I have my second NPC show next week 6/17. And this really drives the point home you have to have a plan coming out of it. No matter how you do it’s going to mess with your head when all of a sudden it’s over. Thank you for the video.

I really needed this today. I’m still halfway through prep but am deloading this week and feel so lost from lack of intensity and the change to my schedule.

Wow. What a great subject. I've had this many times throughout my life. After military, and for a few years now, retirement. You'd think you throw your hands up and cheer (oh, I've done that many times!) All day, every day. But many days, it's like...well...is that it? Now what? A depression can kick in. I wasn't, am not, prepared for that. Thank you for sharing this subject.

This is what is heppening to me. It was my first competition last week, I lost 25lb with 16 weeks prep and 4 weeks keto, but still i am the one who got their ass kicked on the show, i got to single digit body fat but my weakness is just too weak.I feel so discourage and sad, I planed on doing keto to see if it gets better after the show with higher fat intake, but because i felt so bummed out and feeling everything i did was just so silly, so i have been binged on carbs for days now. similar to what Paul says in the video sometimes not wining can be a good thing, even I literally wanted to cry when after 6 years of training 16 weeks of diet and i got my ass kicked after 4 posing on stage, but now after days of carb binging my body feels better and i think i am ready to move on and just keep improve myself one day at the time. i just want to share my personal story relate to this video and hope if anyone is runing into similar situation can get back on their feet together with me.

Great information. We definitely need to have post competition game plan laid out instead of floating aimlessly without new goals in mind to strive for.

Paul Revelia If there's something I've learned this prep is that your improvement season is more important than the prep. Gotta put in the work to be the best!
