Thanks for the great video. I was wondering how these were made. You made it very clear! Thanks

Colleen, thanks for the kind words. Yes, the seam rippers are easy to make and this type of blank really makes them look neat. I appreciate your watching and for leaving the comment.

Hello Paul, I really liked the video. Seam rippers are a great use of this technique because I think any seamstress would find great meaning in a Denim blank. After seeing the finished project I am sure your daughter absolutely loved it. I want to thank you for the shout out, I really appreciate it. Regards,Bob

Bob, thanks for the kind words. I plan on making more of these in the future because they combine ease of construction, reasonable cost, and a great "how did you do that" factor.

I have a few Denim seam rippers made up for the craft show, seamstresses love them. A story sells the item and the answer to "How Did You Do That" is a great and very interesting story that will sell that ripper. Bob

Well this video was absolutely awesome. Using denim in a wood blank has never crossed my mind but now that you have pointed it out to me, I will be sure to use it in a project soon. I'm thinking that my wife would love one of these seam rippers to add to her sewing kit. Heck, my mother could even use one of these. I'm no stranger to a CA finish and let me just say that you did an absolutely fantastic job on the CA finish on this project. It looks fantastic, as does the entire final product. Great work Paul. Thanks for sharing the video with us. Who knows......you might even see a version of this project on my show some day and you can bet, that it will include some denim. Thanks for the video. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Ken, thanks for watching. I was really surprised how easy this project was and how great the results were. You will have to give it a try. Making one for your wife will definitely earn you some points. I am finding that a CA finish is really great for small lathe projects. Thanks again for watching.

This was neat. My other half says she would like one :-) Said she'd help. I guess I know what my first true project on my lathe is gonna be. Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for watching. I strongly agree that lathe use is a learned talent. I envy those that make it look easy.
