Even here, in 2008, you can hear Paul starting to struggle with his voice. You can hear him hitting the wrong note initially for “cryyy” and “byyy”, and having to sing harder to correct it. He shows off by oversinging really high, at the cost of pushing way too much air through his vocal cords. His previously effortless high notes were already gone. All that was left was being able to hit those notes at all, and today, he’s lost that too. It’s honestly sad.

This is a great video. I think it is better than any live version with KISS. It just seems more comfortable, and more rock and roll. It is a great song, sung by a dedicated, great frontman, but he seems more relaxed in his jeans and shoes, and shows in the performance. A great rock song performed by a talented rock band. Very nice! BTW - NOTHING beats the spectacle of a live KISS concert. It is something everyone should have seen if they could.

I saw Paul and Vivian Campbell in a place called The Rock and Roll club in Dallas it was 1986 or 1987 and when I walked into the club this was the song I heard jamming.
