Dana White runs his business like it should be run: like a Business! The UFC is not a charitable organization, it’s a For Profit business. He doesn’t have time to cater to every crybaby fighter that feels he, or she, is not getting enough attention or money. He’s looking at who and how his bottom line will be increased by putting two people in front of each other that people will pay money to see fight. A fighter who wins, but gets booed when he leaves the ring, is not profitable. Fighters who try to besmirch his name, organization, or what he pays are viewed as liabilities. If you want to talk yourself out of a job, that’s how you do it: become a liability. I salute his business acumen, and thank him for putting these fights together.

Dana doesn’t hate Francis he was just over the dude and only cared to the extent of the media constantly pegging him with questions about Francis and why he didn’t make his fight happen with Jones or if he’d co-promote with the PFL for the fight. He certainly was annoyed with him because Francis was making asks and was upset with his pay but wasn’t a draw that was worth the headache. People may not want to accept it but Dana has made business happen with a lot of people he didn’t like if they were a big draw and the headache would be followed by a payoff. He did business with Tito for over a decade but Tito was a draw that was worth it. Or look at Jon Jones for all these years or the huge example like Conor who is a headache but is obviously an enormous draw. Francis never did that and just wasn’t worth dealing with. He headlined three PPVs and none of them did big buys yet didn’t exert any effort in jumping interest leading to the fight. Even then he still was offering a giant new deal to do the Jones fight and turned it down. But his asks for essentially full freedom without any commitment to the UFC so he just moved on. If he was a draw we saw how he accommodated Conor because Conor was worth keeping happy. And Francis has gotten two huge boxing fights, a nice payday guarantee for both, and both of them did horrible buy rates with US numbers being well under 100K for both bouts. Good for Francis for getting what he wanted but the dude just doesn’t draw money and every time he’s headlined an event seen a major flop. Meanwhile you prior to Conor getting to fight Floyd he had headlined 4/5 of the highest selling PPVs in the company’s history. And keeping him happy resulted in his return and in the fights he’s had post Floyd has added four more shows to ranked in the ten highest sellers and holds the four highest sellers. If you produce like that then you’ll get privileges others don’t.

Honestly, Dana's mistake with Francis was hyping him up too soon against Stipe. He should have given a ton of respect to Stipe. Stipe can be marketable to every blue-collar American and Alphas. 1. He's a fireman while defending his championship. 2. He fought one of best fighters and can have a numerous Fight of The Night Awards!!!. Dana knew how to market Cain in the Mexican Community. Why couldn't he market Stipe properly? If I'm rambling because I hate Dana. Look at The First Fight with Francis. Who supported Stipe as The Champion?. If Dana hyped Stipe and reminded Francis that he's fighting The Heavyweight Champion, maybe Francis would have a better reign.

UFC ain't nothing without the fighters, who risk loosing eyes, breaking bones and worst of all go into the ring so dehydrated just a day before to make weight that some of them can't even walk by themselves just so pro gamblers can make better predictions on outcomes, even though it's very dangerous to the brain damage. Furthermore if u mach weight one of danas fighters could be much taller, longer reach or both . So what's next loosing ,increasing hight ,stretching arms . And it's all for mr. dana who is a known gambler himself.
