Thank you for commenting, it is an honour to be able to share your Indian traditions, I am really looking forward to return this year. Are you involved in Akhara training?

Yes, I have viewed your videos and learned on how to swing. I mean the small clubs. I watch all your videos. Nice videos. I know how hard it is to learn the swing styles. You should have put a lot if effort on this to learn all the styles and workouts. And thanks for commenting back

This is great. I’m in my 40’s looking to get into a martial art. I need functional movement training. This fits the bill. Thanks

Amazing video!! Thanks Paul for sharing....god bless you for your work.@The guy commenting about the form...its difficult to maintain picture perfect form in such heavy weights but all the hard work done with the lighter clubs would be coming in handy to protect the body from injury during these extreme effort situations,

Tanay Gurjar Thanks Tanay, this video was taken during a competition at a festival. The Pahlavans train day to day with Gadas weighing from 10kg to 25kg, and then test their strength at the festivals. Thank you for your comments.

That's definitely the biggest gada I've seen in use. I wonder how much it weighs? Looks like they're barely able to handle it, and they certainly don't have very good form. I think they would do better with a slightly lighter gada that they could handle, and maybe one day build up to the one they're trying to use in this video.

The Gada used on a daily basis is heavy, but no where as heavy as the ones in this video. This is a competition situation, and the heaviest gadas are brought out, to see who can swing them for the most reps.
