That was so great. As you were telling the story I was thinking of my little boy, Gatsby. I was on the edge of my seat and Wow, that little doggy had a harrowing adventure! Paul, you're a hero, and I appreciate the life lesson, too.

Great lesson! The very fact that synchronicity works, tells us that there is no reason to have fear. Our interconnections prompt us to give and to receive the help needed. This is why focusing on our common humanity (instead of demonizing others) is critical. Focusing on unity makes us more adept at being "in the right place at the right time" for situations just like you describe.

Thanks Paul for sharing! I too have a pair of small dogs I love dearly who only complain when i play in the upper register…lol… If we all look out for one another and bear each other’s burden, our world would be all the better. I did help a mother whose son was lost and found him. God bless you Paul!

Welcome to work as a rescuer! Synchronicity goes with the calling. I started sending an example to you from my life but there are to many. Funniest was when we camped at a State park cross country. I promised husband I wouldn’t pick up and take home any stray animals from this trip. When we got in the car to leave, a cat was in our car just looking at us. What to do? Look up rescues I guess. Turns out the camp was just a few hours from Best Friends Animal Org, one of the places I feel most connected to so we drove there. They transported the kitty to someone who adopted her in yet another state. I took a tour with them that day to see their work and decided to start and support a similar rescue in my own state where it is greatly needed.

Such a blessing. Paying attention to the energy, and to your 1st inner voice, instinct or intuition. That is often when we discover the right path. Your heart for helping others led you to be open to helping her find her puppy. Thats so awesome Paul. I do believe in synchronicity, I just wish I would pay more attention to my 1st instinct. Thank you for sharing. D

you don't even need to have lost anything...tell the universe whatever you really want (to anyone interested) with self-inspired passion and desire and if you keep dreaming and sharing, you'll be amazed at how (eventually-it's not always instantaneous) you will realize that you recognize the waves rippling out are coming back to you and they will begin manifesting towards your dream becoming reality! Amazing! I love that I have just found your channel today and only 2 days after you posted this story. My synchronicity story is finding this channel and the dream that led me to find it is that synchronicity is what leads me to find the things that I need in order to help bring magic back into reality so we can heal the world. synchronicity has been showing me in small ways non-stop for several years that there are many more things which exist beyond what we normally perceive and I truly can feel it picking up momentum every day. I am so excited to see where it goes next! thank you and everyone in the comments for sharing!

Thank you, so much, for sharing this story. Its heartwarming nature informs why I love to hear you play, so much. I honestly believe I can hear a person's soul in their sound/tone as they play. It is wonderful that you are so open and empathetic.

Very important observation. Thanks for sharing. There is definitely much going on that isn't on the 'what it seems to be' surface. The intuitive understanding (that most people deny as even a valid faculty) is absolutely necessary if one is going to get experience beyond the mundane and the mediocrity of 'normal' perception and life experience. Good job!

Lol Paul, honesty moment here…I must have signed up to your mailing list ages ago, and I’ve never once clicked to read your messages 🤦🏻… but for some reason today, I clicked the video link and …I am so glad I did. This has really spoke to me. The weird synchronicity is that I’d actually unsubscribed days ago, yet I still got the email today! Happy to say I’m now following you on KZbin instead!!

I was out running in the neighborhood one day and came across a teenage girl sobbing because she lost her dog and it was not wearing its collar. She described it as a small dog and gave me the dogs name. A few blocks later I came across a cute little puppy without any tags that was loose in the street and eagerly bounced up to me when I called the dogs name. So I carry this incredibly friendly, very squirmy puppy who's chewing and licking my entire face off back to where I thought the girl lived but couldn't raise anyone there. Later that evening after my wife came home we put on a makeshift leash and tried again. This time the girl and her mother were driving up and I had been at the wrong house. I was excited to present her with her puppy when she said "Oh we found my dog, it was in the neighbors yard!". So now... who's puppy do I have? I dognapped someone else's puppy from the neighborhood! We went back to the area where I found the dog and started knocking on doors. It turns out that someone else on that street had also lost their new puppy out of the gate and had also been frantically looking for it. In the end all the puppies were reunited with their owners and my wife and I met some new people in the area.

I appreciate your sharing of this story. I have seen things that occurred in a similarly " synchronous manner " with the " mathematical odds " of occurrence being many millions to one. It is a rather long story though and I want to think about how to tell it before committing it to English, but I will.. I hope. It is a story that involves the Wilsons, whom I am sure you know, due to your interviewing of Phil involving long tones, etc., on the trombone, and comes from my staying with them back in 1973/4 when I lived in Boston and went to Berklee myself. Thanks, Steve Fulnecky ( out in Indianapolis now ).

This is less example of syncronicity and more example of modern tech use.
